Review Quotes
"Their faces are expressive; Panczyszyn deftly portrays Squirrel's progression from anxiety to panic to an eruption of frustration and anger. The illustrations are largely set against white backdrops, with little detail, though the book has plenty to spark conversations among young readers about emotions, friendships, and self-improvement. A relatable way to help little ones confront big feelings."--Kirkus
"Children will delight in being on the inside of the joke from the moment that the drama is revealed: the pink and blue lollipop is as large as Squirrel's tail and is visible in every panel." --School Library JournalAbout the Author
Doug Cenko lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter. The yoga and breathing exercises have really helped him become a calmer, more mellow author. He was writing a book, but he put it down for one second... and now it's gone. He's not blaming anyone or anything... Hold on. What is that you're reading? Doug is also the author and illustrator of Viking in Love, Little Monster Trucks GO! and Somebody Needs to Do Something About That Monster.
