Q: What is/are the best recommendations for using this Portable Air Conditioner during a smog and/or smoke condition that is occurring outside of the home? A single or dual hose? Will the smoke/smog enter the home via the exhausting system?
A: The exhaust hose does not bring in air from the outside. If there is smoke or smog outside that you would not like to bring inside the home, we would suggest 2 options: 1. Detach the intake hose (which is optional) 2. Purchase an intake hose filter by using the link below. Q: Is this Self-Evaporative System
A: The air conditioner utilizes the patented auto drain technology which exhausts condensation automatically in most environments where the humidity is less than 70%. If the humidity at the location is higher, the auto drain, or self-evaporative function, can still exhaust the majority of the moisture.
