After five years, we reach the final volume. We go not gentle into that good night, but go driving a converted tank, covered in glitter and spangles, with a soundsystem audible from Mars blaring nothing but bangers. Gods, pop stars, an ending. We'll miss you. Collects THE WICKED +THE DIVINE #40-45About the Author
Kieron Gillen first came to attention as a comic writer with his 2006's Phonogram, with Jamie McKelvie. They continued to work together across the next fifteen year, culminating with smash hit The Wicked + the Divine. Since then he's had the pleasure of creating stories with other artists such as Stephanie Hans (DIE, We Called Them Giants) and Caspar Wijngaard (the current sensation, The Power Fantasy). He has worked on Marvel Comics biggest books, such as Immortal X-men, Young Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, Star Wars, Eternals and Darth Vader, (where he co-created Doctor Aphra). In a previous life he was an award-winning pop-culture critic. In his current life, he tries to sleep more. He lives in Bath, UK. Jamie McKelvie is an artist and writer mostly known for his work with Kieron Gillen on comics such as The Wicked + The Divine, Young Avengers and Phonogram. He is also known for his influential character design work, especially at Marvel Comics, where he designed Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, Loki and many of the Young Avengers. Outside of comics, he regularly provides artwork for the band Chvrches, and has also worked with Art Brut and Tegan and Sara. He is currently working on his first solo book in over a decade, The Killing Horizon. Matt Wilson has been coloring comics since 2003, getting his start coloring for the comics coloring studio Zylonol Studios. After a few years in the studio Matt branched out on his own to color titles like: Phonogram, Young Avengers, Thor, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing, The Wicked + The Divine, and Paper Girls. In 2015 Matt's work earned him Eisner Award and Harvey Award nominations.Dimensions (Overall): 10.1 Inches (H) x 6.5 Inches (W) x .4 Inches (D)
