This does not taste like any kimchi I’ve ever had before. It oddly tasted like tomatoes but possibly it’s just really under spiced? It was inexpensive though
Just delicious !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kimchi delivers bold, tangy flavors with a spicy kick and a subtle umami finish. The flavor profile is perfectly balanced, not overly sour, making it approachable even for kimchi beginners. Packaged in a sturdy, resealable plastic jar, it’s practical for maintaining freshness. The texture is crisp and crunchy, preserving the natural bite of Napa cabbage and radish. Made with clean ingredients like Napa cabbage, sea salt, garlic, and red chili peppers, it’s non-GMO and vegan-friendly. Storage is simple: keep it refrigerated to preserve its live probiotic cultures. Ideal as a side dish, topping, or a base for soups and fried rice, this kimchi is a versatile and flavorful addition to your meals!

Does not taste like kimchi. It’s more sour than spicy. Worst kimchi I’ve ever had tbh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tastes pretty good for a vegan kimchi. It’s a bit more sour than what I’m used too but has a nice kick of spiciness. It also doesn’t smell as pungent. The cabbage chunks are a bit smaller and I like the bite size, but it’s also less crunchy. It has a good amount of sesame seeds which I like too.
Love Kimchi...

I love kimchi, I tried to like this product but I just could not. This was the worst I have ever had. Too sour, too salty, did not taste like kimchi at all, and just a plain soggy mess. Too expensive and went straight to the trash.
Tangy and spicy, great with heavy foods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely an acquired taste. Love the spiciness of the chili peppers and the tanginess of the pickled (fermented) cabbage. It’s flavorful, crunchy and goes well with heavy food. Non GMO and no added sugar product. Only 10 calories, what’s not to love. This is a mega food and so healthy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a fan of kimchi. I recently tried this and just couldn’t get myself to like it. The texture and flavor is not something I would reach for. I like it is in a glass jar and some may love this if you like fermented kimchi. I think it is healthy ingredients but couldn’t overcome the taste.
did not disappoint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has an amazing flavor and the texture is great. There's still some crunch to the veggies and it is not soggy. The flavor is rich and well seasoned. To me it taste like a very well seasoned sauerkraut and I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a tad bit spicy eating it as is. But once mixed in with anything other than just eating it on its own. It’s pretty dang FANTASTIC! I loved it all on its own. But my little boy, not so much. Stuck his tongue out and said “it’s spicy” 🥵 so I’m going to make bistecs con kimchi 👌

Rated 5 stars because I’m no expert, so I don’t feel this product should lose its rating over an opinion. That said, I will explain my experience with this kimchi. The pieces are much smaller than what I like in a kimchi. This brand is spicy but not over the top; I’d compare it to slightly hotter than hot salsa. There are a lot more sesame seeds than I like, but I was going to floss my teeth anyway. The liquid is almost effervescent, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I wasn’t expecting it. Overall not the worst kimchi experience I’ve had, just not quite the one I’m looking for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not something I would try often, but it was very different and definitely an acquired taste. Lots of flavor too! Wasn’t really sure how to eat this so I just tried with a spoon and ate by itself. I’m sure if I did some more research there are other ways to eat this!! However, being 5 months pregnant and very sensitive right now I just wasn’t interested in doing so. Probably wouldn’t purchase again, but I love the experience!!

I'm not Korean, but I've had many kinds of kimchi. Both large and small batch and ones served in authentic Korean restaurants. When you buy packaged kimchi in a jar, I expect fermentation to cause pressure and bubbles at least 80% of the time to some degree. My jar did not have that. Second, kimchi has a specific smell because of fermentation. Mine did not have a smell other then spices. Third is I expect there so be a decent amount of crunch to the cabbage. Unfortunately I did not have that even in the bigger pieces. Sometimes there's less crunch with older kimchi, but this was not old kimchi. Another thing worth noting is that the immediate taste was both extremely salty and sour. Not like fermentation sour, but... additive sour? And it's super spicy. Overall, this might be a good beginners kimchi who wouldn't do well with the pungent smell and taste of the real stuff. It would probably make decent fried rice, but forget kimchi-jjigae.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product wasn’t my favorite. It had a very particular taste and I didn’t enjoy it. My family wasn’t a fan either. It wasn’t bad , just wasn’t my type of food.
