Wind & Weather One-Way Mirror Window Mount Bird Feeder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I think this is a clever bird feeder, and we are enjoying having birds come so close to us, I am disappointed with how it actually looks, compared with the photo in the catalog. It's difficult to see the colors of the birds--it's not really a one way mirror. The instructions clearly say that the "mirror" can be mounted with either side facing in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second window mount bird feeder that I have purchased. My sister loves hers and my niece wanted one too for her new cat. The cats love watching and "playing" with the birds. It provides hours of entertainment. A great gift for any cat owner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this bird feeder for my 99 year old mom. It was easy for her to set up and very easy to refill. My mom loves it and like the picture, she has a black cat too! They are both enjoying their bird watching.

I love my bird feeder. We've had all sorts of birds feeding, however, recently squirrels have found a way to feed in there too. Dang. I'm afraid to move it because I'm worried it will weaken the suctions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Expensive for size. Did not know there is a film that goes on the inside of your window rather than just being a part of the gadget outright. Suction cups slid down one side n lost all birdseed to the ground, so had to put it in a less desirable spot where it had a ledge to rest on. Only 1 bird keeps coming to it, even when I removed other feeder outside, and even after a big snowstorm.

I just ordered a new one for our sunroom. He will enjoy it even more now. This is sturdier than anything I have seen that is similar. No picture as this one is under our Christmas tree.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these to put on one of our sunroom window where the "cat tree" sits to entertain the cats. I have multiple feeders outside so it didn't take long for the birds to find it. The cats LOVE it and we enjoy watching the birds and the cats. It's became such a popular feeder I purchased two more. What is really great is that the back of the feeder is something like a mirror. We can see the birds but the birds can't see us and once attached by suction cups to the window they never fall off. Also easy refill.

I have read many of the reviews and several customers commented that the top was difficult to remove SOLUTION apply vasaline with a Qtip to the slots and suctioncup interface VOLA! Another complaint is that the mirror film will not stick to the glass SOLUTION i used GILA plastic film application solution... sticks like a charm PERFICTLY! Recomend Wind & Weather supply a 1 ounce bottle of "Gila" with every feeder... good luck...Great Feeder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have it in one of my kitchen windows so my cat can also watch---just put it up a week ago & so far have had a finch or two come to it--it provides a place out of the wind & rain for my feathered friends & it's so neat to be able to see birds at such a close range without frightening them--very easy installation- BELIEVE ME--i'm not mechanically inclined in any way, shape or form.....

Good window view of birds. The only thing I didn’t like is the one way mirror peeled off the window after a while. Maybe the hot sun caused it to peel. I had to tape the corners which doesn’t look very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cheaply built for the price. The "one way mirror" is actually a piece of film that's supposed to stick to the window but ours did not. I had to tape it up instead. It's been a few weeks and so far, not a single bird!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The suction cups have held up great so far (2 weeks)! However, the bird feeder does not have a one-way mirror on it, the package comes with a piece of mirror-like film that you stick on the INSIDE of your window on the opposite side of the feeder. It doesn't look very nice and it unpeels itself from the window pretty easily. The feeder itself is great tho!
