Q: Should I go up a size I know cotton can shrink I have a queen size bed do I need to go up to king size?

A: Thank you for the inquiry. If you follow these care instructions, it shouldnt shrink: Machine wash cold, separately, delicate cycle, with like colors, do not bleach, tumble dry low, reposition during drying cycle until thoroughly dry. steam iron low if needed, It is definitely a personal preference if you want to buy a larger size, but i personally wouldnt in a blanket. I might buy a larger size in a comforter, just because i do not like to use a bed skirt. I hope this helps.

This is a VERY generously sized blanket. It's not as soft as a smooth-knit blanket, but for a woven blanket, I find it pretty soft, and I have a lot of textural issues. Yes, it does lint like crazy with the first wash. There was like an inch of tiny cotton balls in the dryer lint trap and still more stuck to it after it was dry. I solved the problem of them getting everywhere by sticky rolling the blanket once it was on my bed. It took a couple passes, but then no more lint balls. The blanket looks great and is light enough for this hot sleeper even in the depths of a hot, humid summer.

I bought this for my son's room. This is his first big boy bed and he is potty training, so we needed something that could be easily washed but still made the room look "finished." This looks so sweet on his bed, feels nice, it's easily tucked in under the mattress and is plenty warm. It washes well (although a lot of fluff does come out in the dryer initially) and is exactly what I had hoped for.

Beautiful blanket! The reason I gave it a little lower rating for washing, is because I had to wash & dry it 4 times to get all the”fluff” out. Seems like most blankets & towels are like that these days. Would still purchase again though.
