Big bite in a small form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a great compact cable cutter. The handles are narrow and fit easily in the back pocket/ narrow slots in the tool pouch. They also have a comfortable flare that helps when you're chopping bigger wire. Handled big composite cable and #8 copper with ease. The pivot location for the jaws seems like it transfers a lot of cutting power. Flipping the jaws around, it becomes a menace to thick Romex jackets and larger low voltage composite cable. Just don't forget to flip them back if you throw them back in your pockets, or you'll have some new rips in your Carhartt pockets. Currently, they have replaced my larger cable loppers due to the size saving difference. You honestly cannot beat the price point vs some of the other competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoy using the cable cutters. I was concerned with the legth of handles and how much leverage I'd actually be to achieve when cutting larger wires. However, with the sharp jaws I had no issues with making cuts. Being able to strip romex was also another handy feature.
Good basic cutters with a weird gimmick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These seem to be solid wire cutters. My only gripe with these is the “3 in 1” seems very gimmicky. I cannot see myself ever turning the pliers inside out to use them as a “sheath knife”. Other than that small gripe they seem to be well built wire cutters and I have no doubt they will hold a good edge as long as they aren’t abused.
Handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice little pair of pliers. Flip action to access the knife is handy when cutting tape of boxes. Or to rip through plastic. Smooth action on the pliers. Have not used the crimper part yet. Seems to be well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tool!! Love how it has a smaller opening and a larger one for cutting cable/wire. I have used this tool for cutting copper stands when I use ferrals for terminating wire in control cabinets. I would recommend this tool 100%!!!
This thing is sharp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance you dont notice all the features. It appears to be just a cable cutter with a nice set of grips on it. But upon further inspection it has a nice cable ripper notch and wire stripper spot. Not in my every day bag but it definitely has it's residential uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my very old and VERY dull Klein cutters with these, and have loved them so far. The ability to flip them over and use as a sheath knife was a nice surprise! I will keep using these for a long time, without a doubt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good pair of cable cutters. Very sharp and cuts through wire with ease. Little hard to figure out how to use them to strip cables, but once I got it down, it goes much better and is very useful to have all these features in one tool.
Great for romex!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After taking some time in using this product, the blades are sharp and have stayed sharp. The switchback system is useful for romex, but kind of niche in that aspect. It’s great if you work with romex frequently. It cuts mc just fine, but I wouldn’t replace your side cutters for these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are a perfect fit and will cut 0/0 if your man enough to squeeze them. Sharp and very easy to manipulate them with one hand. Handles seem to be nicely attached. Not to terribly long and don't stick out of your bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn't sure what to expect with these, but they really surprised me. Cables were cut buttery smooth. Once I cut my cables, I was extremely happy with how the stripping portion of the tool worked. The fact that it's able to do those two functions makes this an instant purchase. The added on sheathing cutter is a bonus that I was surprised with - It made it that much easier to get the cables free, and made it so I only have to carry this one particular tool with me when I am wiring things around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these too use for a few projects around the house with 10/3 and 10/4 wiring. As a challenge I used only these for cutting and stripping, nothing else. They worked great!! The jaws rotate don't around to use the cutting edge to cut back the outer insulation and the tip strips perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cool tool with a clever design. Seems solid, but have not put it through anything rough yet. Price was right and it should get some good use. Will be recommending this tool to my friends in the trades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came pretty fast in the mail. I was shocked that it was smaller than I thought, used to larger linesman. They are light weight, very sharp, cuts great and the added plus is that they flip 180 degrees to help cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try them. They performed well with 110 wire and lower gauge wires. Unfortunately when cutting a 220 wire they developed a chip/nick in the blades. I suspect I am have received a pair that just didn’t get a proper hardening. Over all the design and ergonomics are great.
Multifunctional and Sharp! Nice little addition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice, sharp pair of cutting pliers. I made over 200 cuts through 12/2 wire yesterday with no issues at all. It doesn’t seem to have taken any of the edge. They are a little awkward in the fully opened position. Added bonus of being able to flip the handles. Was able to use 1 side in a stripping application and leverage to cut a ground in a hard to reach area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cable cutters are 3 tools is one. It replaced my side cutters, strippers and utility knife with one, high quality tool. I tried these on several types of wire and they consistently worked great. The cutters are very sharp and effortlessly cut through everything I tried to cut including solid copper wire, stranded copper wire and even some steel cable. Without changing tools you’re able to reverse the cutter and cut the sheath to expose the individual wires then reverse again to strip. They seem very durable and well made. The cutters appeared to retain there sharp edge after several uses. These are very handy to have in your tool belt.
The tool for when you can’t bring the whole bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about the 3-in-1 nature of this tool when I ordered it, and it didn’t disappoint. Many times when crawling through an attic, it’s hard to bring much with me, so it’d be nice to bring this one tool instead of a utility knife, wire stripper, and wire cutters. In terms of performance, the cutters are sharp and cut through 10/3 wire easily. I’d put them up there with other premium wire cutters. The sheathing cutter works fine, but requires a little more finesse to get it angled right than you need with a utility knife. I don’t generally use universal strippers, but this one works well. Overall, the only thing that lets this down a little is the handle. It could be a bit thicker with better grip. I likely will grab this in the future for quick electrical jobs and when i don’t want to bring my full tool bag. For repetitive tasks like putting in outlets in a room or working on a panel, I’d probably still grab my strippers and utility knife along with this cutter to make the stripping go a bit faster.
Three tools in one. Slides in back pocket easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new cable cutters for about a week now and have been very pleased with them. I have used them on 12 and 14 guage sheathed cable. These cutters cut cable easily and the jacket splitter and wire stripper feature works great. It takes a minute to get used to flipping the handles to use the sheath splitter, but after theb1st day of use I was happy. These cutters are sharp and split the sheath easily. They slide into your back pocket easily and you have 3 tools in one.
