Q: Is it normal for this product to not have a safety seal? I bought three bottles so it doesn't seem to be a one time mistake.

A: I bought 4 and none of them were sealed properly. No seal whatsoever. I'm going to try to return them, but fear they'll be refused because theyhave no safety seals, but this is more like water.

A: If you look at the ingredient order you will see it is 4th on the list. That means very little witch hazel extract was added. Fake. Surprised Target sells it.

Terrible. Pay the extra dollar for TN Dickenson witch hazel. Target used to sell generic witch hazel that was decent, but this stuff is awful. It just smells like straight rubbing alcohol and it leaves a weird residue. No bueno!

To start there’s no seal and I thought that was strange. Then I smelled it and it doesn’t have the typical witch hazel smell this product smells like bubbles so that combined with it not having a seal…. No ma’am this product will not touch my face. I’ll be returning it to Target first thing.

It’s OK I like the new look they used to have wipes. Those are decently better but I don’t know sometimes it has a good feeling and a good burn and then sometimes it just feels like water on my face. I mean usually store brand from target is usually pretty dang good but I don’t know For some reason. It’s like every battlefield is different but I mean everyone has their own taste and reaction to chemicals, but it a hit or miss like I said, give it a shot. At least it’s not too cheaper.

This will be my last time purchasing this brand of "witch hazel" because it clearly isn't. It's water and perfumed scent now. Witch hazel extract is listed as the 5th ingredient now but honestly it doesn't seem like it contains ANY. So the price went up for an inferior product. NOPE!

There is no seal whatsoever on the Target brand Witch Hazel. Alcohol & Hydrogen Peroxide are both sealed but not the Witch Hazel. Anybody can put anything in this product. I don’t understand how Target can sell this product without a seal.

This isn't really 100% distilled Witch Hazel -- mostly water, alcohol and some Witch Hazel "Extract", grapefruit seed extract, aloe juice and other chemicals. Don't know HOW they can call this Witch Hazel. No real distilled Witch Hazel actually is in this product. I use WItch Hazel on my face... won't be trying to save money on Witch Hazel in future... They are selling water and if you are allergic to citrus, aloe or have sensitivities to other chemicals, then this product is nt fpr you or me. This should be labeled "Mystery Water" not Witch Hazel. This product has no value whatsoever but great potential for harm.

I would give no stars if possible. It’s no longer 86% witch hazel and 14% alcohol. It’s a bottle full of extra “stuff” that leaves your face feeling sticky.

I’ve been using up & up for years to make postpartum products for moms. It’s been out of stock and of course came back as a junk product with chemicals. On the market as a skincare product “for face and body”, but the chemicals in them are associated with eczema and other skin irritations. Oh and DN alcohol is not natural alcohol, it’s processed to be used for camping stoves. I hate when companies turn good products into junk just to make another buck. Do better target. Check out my kits at ThePeriParcel.com where I will be using real witch hazel to help mamas heal. ❤️ And like others have said, these aren’t sealed AT ALL. How is that allowed?? Returning all ten bottles that I purchased for my postpartum kits. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Read the label! It’s not witch hazel anymore. Like other reviews stated the ingredients have changed entirely with the new bottle design and it now has added a bunch of unwanted junk chemicals (whereas before it was only witch hazel and alcohol). Going straight to the trash where it belongs ugh. It is unsealed too as others have said. Super disappointed and will not repurchase. Will have to buy name brand now.

I have purchased Target products and for the most part have been happy with them. I purchased three bottles and noticed one leaked. These bottles are NOT sealed. In today's day and age that is UNACCEPTABLE. This brand of witch hazel used to be sealed, not sure why they stopped. Either it is a manufacturer error or they are trying to save money. The safety seal is IMPORTANT because not only does it protect the product from contamination but also prevents leakages. I returned the bottles and although the T.N. Dickinson is more expensive, the bottles are sealed.
