Women's Belted Gauze Midi A-Line Dress - Universal Thread™

I bought this dress after a favorite influencer did an unboxing and her body style is similar to mine. I am 5'3" with an apple waist. The reviews are correct the arm holes are small but I didn't feel they were too snug. The fabric is flowy and perfect for summer and love the pockets. It was exactly the grecian style dress I have been looking forward to and hides the belly well with the added bonus of the belt creating an empire waist. If you are petite you might drown in this dress but it is flattering for the right body types.

A lot of reviews said this dress was too voluminous in the tummy area, but I carry a lot of my weight there, so I decided to give it a try. I found this dress to be very flattering on my body. I like the full coverage top for when I want more coverage. The fabric is comfy and breathable and will only soften more with repeated washings. The pockets don't seem to add too much bulk to my already full hips. The waist tie didn't hit me in the right place, so I snipped the loops off and just tied the belt where I wanted it. The only real negative I can find is that the arm holes are a little on the tight side, so I took one star off for that. I have bought it in all the colors but have only received the blue one so far. I may even purchase one in a larger size (for more room in the arm holes) to use as a summer nightgown

Love it. With a tan belt, cardigan & sandals it makes it super cute. Love the pockets.

Runs big. Instead of being flowy it adds bulk.

Sad that it fits weird. The color is very nice and the dress style is good as well but the chest sits really weird and my bust became huge with excess fabric.

The fabric was great, but there is just so much of it. Armholes would say I sized accurately, but there is SO much extra fabric to the dress it just looked frumpy and huge no matter what.

I bought this dress in a 2X in the beautiful and vibrant blue color. Yes it’s big/oversized but that’s the point of the belt: to cinch and create a shape. The cotton material is soft, cool, and flowy. I agree that the arm holes are extremely small but a quick snip and tuck of the seam and they’re perfect. The length is just right on my 5’5” frame. The “V” isn’t deep even with my 40i bust. It has pockets!! The rope belt is attached with strings. Overall, this is a nice spring and summer dress

I bought my normal size in this dress, but it runs VERY large. It's huge in the chest and stomach area. I can probably hold out the excess fabric about a foot away from my body. It would look ridiculous if it didn't come with the belt to tighten everything up...and even then it looks a little odd because the excess fabric bunches. The arm holes, however, are very small if you have fat upper arms and can cause irritation/discomfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this dress for myself in the size medium. I’m 5’7” and typically wear a medium in dresses. Unfortunately everything just felt all wrong with this dress. The fit was incredible big and baggy. The v-neck went much too low for me and showed my bra. I guess I do like that there are pockets, but the pockets didn’t lay nicely and made the dress stick out a lot at my hips. Overall unflattering. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This size XS gauze A-line midi sleeveless dress with a belt fits my 5’3 smaller frame a little big and a little long, more like a maxi length. My measurements at the time of this review are C31 W27 H34 and weight around 120lbs. When I put the dress on, u belted, it was so big it was actually funny! It looked like a potao sack! The belt helped tremendously, but it still has a very loose fit! The material is thin and flowy, feels great on a warm summer day! I love the pockets! It dips bit lower in the chest area then I would prefer. I received an incentive to write this review.

I really wanted to like this dress because I love the fabric and the blue color was gorgeous but the fit is awful. It is super oversized except the arm holes that are so tiny it’s painfully far up into your armpits. Immediately returned.

Way too oversized. I’m usually a Small, sometimes XS, but this XS dress was way too big on me, and too much fabric. I love how it looks on the picture though but not for me.

I got this in a large, and it was really over sized. Also, what looks like a light and guazy fabric is actually quite heavy.

Not flattering. I would say true to size but the arm holes are SO weird and tight and the rest is sack-like. Bought in blue and coral, returning.

The sizing was very off for this dress. Below the chest area, there was a ton of excess fabric. The shoulder area of the dress was a bit tight and small which seemed like a quality issue. I ordered this in black and blue and loved the gauze material but the sizing was so off that I couldn’t make this dress work, unfortunately.

Super oversized and it’s see through.
