Women's Classic Rose Linen Long Sleeve Maxi Dress - kate spade new york x Target Pink/Red

Surprised by the quality of this dress! I sized up to a M knowing it had two ties, and I love the flowy/breezy feel while still being cinched in all the right places. I read some reviews of people complaining about the sleeve cuff elastic being too loose - I’m actually very pleased about this! It allows me to wear them down or put the elastic just above my elbow so the sleeve has a 1/2 or 3/4 blouson effect! Which makes the pleats on the shoulders look even nicer (IMO). I had already bought the pants, so I knew the color was saturated and bright and the material was gorgeous. Big win for an after-drop-day purchase!

This dress is so many things. Fun, colorful, bold, sexy, casual. Tbh, I was not impressed at first when I saw it at the store, but once I tried it on, I knew I had to have it. Yes, there are a few weird tiny white spots, but I think it may have been intentional as linen often has imperfections the way it is woven. This is not pure linen, of course, I believe it's a linen/cotton blend, which means it won't be super wrinkly like pure linen. This was the first piece I purchased from the Kate spade collab. I have been on the hunt everyday to add more pieces to my wardrobe. Great color combo, I normally do not do bold prints, but everything about this dress was so flattering.

I was drawn to the bright colors for spring. Material is thin, strings hanging loose everywhere. There are several pulls in the fabric in noticeable places like the bust area. Fit is TTS. I’m 5’2”, 125-130 lbs. and purchased the XS. Fit me like a glove. Just wasn’t impressed enough to keep. Unfortunately, I will be returning.

I thought there would be more contrast between the pink and red, looks kind of dull. The fit of the dress is great but there seem to be unfinished edges particularly in the waistband that make the dress look cheaply made so sadly will return

Pleasantly surprised with this dress! It is a little more fitted through the torso, but I think that’s what makes it so flattering to wear. I carry weight in the middle and typically wear a size 10. the medium fit well.

Fits perfectly. I am 166 and 4’11

I just don’t know… the colors don’t stand out and kind of fade into each other and I’m worried this may shrink and not look good after one wear. It is a thicker material and fits tts in my option!

The fabric is so pretty in person. It's like a tropical punch pink with a cherry red floral print. Personally, I love a pink/red combo and this is one done right. I felt it fit me TTS everywhere except maybe the bust which was a tiny bit snug. Across the shoulders, the arms and waist/hip area were all loose but not sloppy looking. If you have an hourlass figure and are small around the ribcage with a full bust, this is a very flattering shape. I can understand the mixed reviews for the waist area, though. This shape works well for me, but I understand it might not be flattering on everyone. That said, it's very cute if you can make it work for you. The only reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is that the fabric is a print on white linen blend so the inside is white and since it's a slubby woven fabric, some of that white peeks thorugh in the slub in areas. I had to pick the best of 3 in my size in store but they all had that effect to some degree.

This dress is beautiful but runs very large. I'm normally a size 22/24 in dresses and wear a 42H bra. I ordered the 3X and I'm swimming in it. However, I love the dress so much that it's definitely worth having it altered. I would suggest ordering at least one size down, if not two. Also, I noticed that the front is cut fairly low, so if you have a large chest you might need to wear a camisole underneath or have a modesty panel sewn in.

Flattering! I sized up to an XL based on the size chart and I'm happy with it. I have an apple shaped body and I think this dress creates great waist definition. The fabric is nice quality without being too heavy. It does seem to wrinkle easily but I am excited to wear this dress on a cruise!

So sad to return this dress. Runs a bit small. I'm 5'11" and typically a 16. The XL is snug in the wrong places. One size up would drape well, but it's sold out. Vibrant colors - deep magenta and orange. Hits just below my knee. Pockets are great. Love the texture and weight - but may be hard to launder and keep the material soft.

This dress is so flattering! I’m typically a L/XL and currently 6 months pregnant and went with a large and it fit perfect. Definitely a bump friendly dress that can also be worn after pregnancy. The length was also perfect. I’m 5’2 and it came just above my ankles.

This was one of the (few :)) kate spade new york x Target items I wasn't planning to buy, but there was one in my local store so, on a whim, I tried it on, and it was beautiful! I expected the fit to be boxy, but it defined my waist and looked really pretty. Purchased my regular size! No, it's not the quality of a regular Kate dress, but it's priced accordingly.

Loved the color and the material but the fit was awful! First I tried a S but the elastic at the waist kept bunching funny so I tried a M but then it was way too big. I wish it didn't have the elastic at the waist. No matter how I tied it or how much I loosened it, it was just so unflattering.

Tried my usual size and one size up, both were extremely tight, especially in the hip area. I may try again if more sizes come back in stock. Pockets are great, length is fine. Appreciate warmer weather dresses with sleeves!

Cheaply made and Weird puffy shoulders.

Extremely loose fit. I usually wear XL and ended up with a Medium! Cute tiered dress, bold color, like the double ties.

I ordered this online and was so excited it was available. I originally saved the green/blue but glad I went with this color. Material is nice, dress is very flattering. I am 6’1, size 18/20. Ordered xxl and the length is great, fit is perfect.

Sleeves way too puffy and wrist elastic too big. Dress was not flattering.

The fabric is great, it’s very pretty and vibrant. The neck line and ties under the bust are super flattering. I am 5’1” and it hits right above my ankle, could wear without altering. My issue is the sleeves. They are so overwhelming and on a petite frame, become a really unnecessary focal point.
