Women's Drop Waist Knit Midi Slip Dress - Universal Thread™

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This women’s size extra small dress fits true to size. It has a flowy waist so if you are in between sizes you can size down. The dress is sleeveless with a tank style top. The waist is a drop waist that is every flattering. It has a long length. The dress is made from a soft solid black knit. This dress could easily be dressed up or worn casually. It is a very nice quality for a great price. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’4 and usually a size medium in clothes so I tried this on in my usual size medium. It definitely runs a bit big and runs long. As evidenced by the photos the hem was touching the floor rather than hitting at my ankles like the model photo. I like the style of the drop waist but given how the dress fits me it doesn’t stand out and honestly looks a bit awkward. It doesn’t have pockets unfortunately. I received an incentive to write this review.

I picked this up because I did love the soft fabric, which is almost like a baby blanket. But when I put it on, it was extremely long on my 5'3 frame, and just not very flattering.

I ordered a Large, my usual size.... it was hanging off of me! It swamped my frame and was very matronly. I am returning and might try a size smaller but even then I don't think I will like it!

I tried it on and liked the blue color, but the material was almost sweater-like, which I feel doesn’t make sense for a tank top dress you might want to wear in warmer weather. I’ll give the dropped waist silhouette another try in a lighter weight material.
