Women's Drop Waist Knit Midi Slip Dress - Universal Thread™

Can't give a proper review as the alarm was left on by the store. Purchased dress through online pickup for a bridal weekend. Not able to use any of the dresses and due to the location I was at, I wasn't able to replace at the last minute. So I had to make due with what extras I brought. The fact that I walked out of the store with no alarms going off is amazing. Do better and thank you for the frustration and inconvenience. I will be returning when I get back.

Very comfortable dress while also being warm so perfect for winter weather. I throw a crop sweater over the top and instantly change the look. I am 5'2" and wear the small - take a size 8 in pants and the drop waist is not tight at all. The small just bruses my shoe tops. Of course I am into the loose linen look - tend to wear loose linen pants and tops so this works right into that style. Bought the other two colors after falling in love with this one. Consistent compliments at work too. Have to admit I am surprised about that since it is not a strict professional look but more chill professional. Not complaning though since the boss loves it.

I am normally a small, but I’m 5 months pregnant so I’ve been wearing mediums. I ordered this in both S and XS. The XS fit better. I didn’t love the silhouette on my baby belly. Sizing down slims the bodice a bit, but I still had extra room at the waist. Ordering in your normal size makes the top fit loosely and you completely lose any kind of waist you might have (I sure don’t have one right now lol). The fabric is a soft, fuzzy rib knit. It looks cute with a sweater. It also looks like the kind that will look old and ratty very quickly. Photos are of the XS. I’m 5’7.

I got the blue in XS. The fabric is heavier than I expected. It is more of a maxi length than a midi. It does have stretch, but it runs larger than expected so you might not need it. The drop waist is quite low.

I love the fabric however it dress ran larger than expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dress in size S fit pretty loose on me. I probably could’ve sized down and would’ve been ok. It was also fairly long and draped to the bottom and so I paired with heels to give it a lift. Because went with waist and hip size, the bust was loose and the scoop neck did fall pretty low so was a little self conscious of a wardrobe malfunction. The low waist was not my favorite look on me as it accentuates if you have a bit of a belly. Overall the dress was pretty plain looking and too loose fitting for my preference. For reference, I’m 5’4” and mead at 32-28-38. I received an incentive to write this review.

I wanted to like they're just really Heavy and run really big

I am 5’4 and 126 pounds and the dress fits me well. I do think this extra small dress is slightly bigger than normal due to the fabric. It’s not as tight however the length of this dress is perfect! It hits me right at my ankles. Love the material but personally don’t love where the waist line hits me. I received an incentive to write this review.

I am 5’7” and typically wear a medium in dresses, but this one looked like it would be flowy so I sized down. I’m glad I sized down because it was still pretty loose fitting as a small. The dress is especially large in the arm holes, the fabric actually sticks out in the armpits. The waistband is very unflattering and sits down on the hips. Definitely a return. The dress is sleeveless with a tank style top. The waist is a drop waist that is every flattering. It has a long length. The dress is made from a soft solid black knit. This dress could easily be dressed up or worn casually. It is a very nice quality for a great price. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’4 and usually a size medium in clothes so I tried this on in my usual size medium. It definitely runs a bit big and runs long. As evidenced by the photos the hem was touching the floor rather than hitting at my ankles like the model photo. I like the style of the drop waist but given how the dress fits me it doesn’t stand out and honestly looks a bit awkward. It doesn’t have pockets unfortunately. I picked this up because I did love the soft fabric, which is almost like a baby blanket. But when I put it on, it was extremely long on my 5'3 frame, and just not very flattering.

I ordered a Large, my usual size.... it was hanging off of me! It swamped my frame and was very matronly. I am returning and might try a size smaller but even then I don't think I will like it!

I tried it on and liked the blue color, but the material was almost sweater-like, which I feel doesn’t make sense for a tank top dress you might want to wear in warmer weather. I’ll give the dropped waist silhouette another try in a lighter weight material.

The dress itself is nice. The fabric is soft and not too heavy. It runs BIG. I am 5’7” and 135lbs ordered a M. I probably could have ordered an XS.
