Women's High-Rise Straight Leg Cargo Pants - A New Day™

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cargo dress pants are a size medium, which is my usual size and these and definitely run small. The back waist band is elastic, which I thought would help, but these were extremely tight and uncomfortable. The length was perfect for me at five foot five tall, which was a plus! I did love the fabric and it was super soft, comfortable and the fabric was light. The cargo pocket took me back to the 90’s and was a great added detail. This is the size my daughter would normally wear and these fit her perfectly. I love the fabric they are made from and feel like they will not get super wrinkly throughout the day. You could easily dress them up quite a bit, or you can wear them dressed down or a little more casual. They will look great with both tennis shoes or a more dressy shoe. These also have a cargo style to them, very soft material and comfy. I ordered my typical size, a size large and they are quite big still. I definitely would size down when ordering. I am 5 foot eight and you can see they hit at a weird length, too shirt yet too long. Hoping the smaller size will help with that. I received an incentive to write this review.

My legs are in the shorter side and dressy pants are usually too long, but these are a great length! My measurements at the time of this review are C31 W27 H34. These pants are flowy with a loose fit, bur the material makes them look dressy. The side cargo pockets are on trend, and add a level of style to a plain pant. There are belt loop, and a metal clasp to fasten, and some stretch in the waist. The material is light and moves well! I received an incentive to write this review.

Unfortunately the waistband was super tight for an XL and I could barely button them up. Once buttoned it made my stomach look larger than it actually is. Not flattering at all. The material was nice and seemed durable. But I just could not get over the fit. I would size up and hope the other parts of the pants aren’t too big. I received an incentive to write this review.

I liked the high rise aspect. The rayon fabric is velvety smooth and still felt lightweight. There wasn’t much room for anything in the pockets, I would recommend sizing up one to have better access to the pockets. Liked the straight leg style. Great for work or going out. I really love the waistband and how they look with a shirt tucked into them. The cargo pockets are fun little additions to the pants. I typically wear a size 16 or an extra large sometimes a one X in my pants because I have a big bottom and I ordered these in a one X they fit very well.
