Women's Long Sleeve Midi A-Line Dress - A New Day™ Black/Cream

I bought this dress in black/black, which appears to be sold out or no longer offered. So, I am sharing my review under the same dress in black/cream. I am 5'9" and a little bit husky/curvy, if you will. I am wearing the dress in XXL. I searched all over to find a dress to my company's holiday gathering that would look feminine and polished, and hide some of my belly, and this dress saved the day! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dress. The skirt is lined and has pockets, which is always fun and handy. The off the shoulder neckline helps this dress to really stand out. For those who are wondering, unfortunately, you cannot wear the dress with the shoulders "up". I had no issues at all with the neckline or sleeves thoughout the evening. I paired my dress with some statement earrings as it was a holiday event; but, you could easily wear simple earrings or a statement necklace. I also felt that my dress needed something else; so, I added an elastic belt that had a satin bow. The belt really helped complete the dress! Since the black/cream dress has even more contrast, consider a belt to help transition the color change at the seam. I'll tell you what...I received a LOT of compliments on this dress. I will definitely wear this one again!

The top half of this dress is perfect. Fit, fabric, style. The lawyered bubble of the bottom half adds width, which is not not flattering. Would love to see this in other color combos and with a sleeker skirt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically wear a size small for dresses, and this produce in a size small fit me perfectly. I was worried that the sleeves would be too long for my arms but they were not (I am 5’4). I like that the dress went down just below my knee, and the ruffeled skirt was a very cute feature. The dress does not have any lining on top, so you would have to sweat a strapless bra with it. The dress has pockets! I received an incentive to write this review.

bottem half kind of looks like a full diaper but still felt pretty in it!

My measurements at the time of this review are C31 W27 H34 and weight around 120lbs. I love this bubble skit with the fitted top, very flattering. The skirt moves well, and it has pockets! I wish it was not off the shoulder, as that’s the part that’s just a hair too big for me. A really fun and unique look for a special event! I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This A New Dress is cute but I think I am too tall for this dress. I ordered a size XXL. The fabric is soft and made from 70% recycled polyester. The black part of the top is Empire waste. The bottom skirt part is like a long bubble skirt. It made me feel like I was a little kid dressing up for a party. It has a scoop neck line and long sleeves. The shoulders of the dress kept slipping down. I received an incentive to write this review.

classic, ran too big, but sold out in smaller size , would buying correct size was available

This is a beautiful dress, but it runs a size or two too big. I was going back and forth between a 3 and 4 and really I needed a 1 or 2. Unfortunately both are now sold out so I can't try them.

Flattering, comfy, classic. Wish they made more!

This dress is super cute and fits perfectly! I especially love the contrast in materials. The bubble hem is perfection! I’m wearing an XXL and am pear shaped.

The quality of this dress is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised with the fabrics. Also, it has pockets…huge added bonus! I got so many compliments. I felt it ran very true to size.

Very pretty dress and fabric, good concept overall but not for my height, I would have kept it if I was taller, I’m 5’4 it was too long for my taste and the cream part looked a bit weird.

I was pleasantly surprised by this dress. It definitely feels more elevated and the skirt material is giving Anthropologie vibes. I will say, as a taller woman, this would be a bit more elegant if the skirt were 2 inches longer, but I can live with it the way it is. Give this one a chance!

Beautiful thick conservative dress
