Women's Long Sleeve Velvet Mini A-Line Dress - Universal Thread™ Black

I REALLY wanted to love this cute mini dress. But, who thought THESE pockets would be cute on THIS dress? Yes, we love pockets on a dress, but not when said pockets make the dress look like an apron. They almost seem like an afterthought, or oh wait, we still have fabric, throw some pockets on the front.

Everything about this dress is just terrible. The fabric is itchy, heavy, and attracts so much lent. The fit was way off. I am a true Medium and this fit huge on me, yet short in length. There was nothing to like about this.

Ok, what is going on with the pockets??? It felt like they had extra fabric and decided last minute to add huge pockets, it looks very odd on a size small dress…… yeah I don’t know if I’ll keep it.

I haven't even worn this dress. I only took it out the bag after doing a pickup. I can't believe that a team member had the audacity to bag this dress! It look like it has been thrown around and cleaned every surface in the store! Lint, hair, and whatever else could be picked up by this dress, has been!

I love this dress so much! I was looking for a cute dress that I could wear for all occasions. The dress does fit a little big, I did size down. Love the pockets! Love the fit! So fun to dress up or down. Definitely recommend!

Amazing find. I’m super picky about dresses and normally wear fit & flare, but I felt so confident in this!! Perfect for my boyfriend’s work holiday party. I’m a size 12/14 and the Large was perfect. I paired it with the Elsa flats in silver.

I hesitantly took a chance on this dress despite the mixed reviews, and I’m so glad I did, especially considering I’m tall but all legs with a short torso. The top portion of the dress *is* longer than the bottom, but the cinched portion is meant to sit at your natural waist with the oversized top portion draping over. It’s definitely on the shorter side, and the pockets do sort of make the bottom portion feed wider, but overall I’m really happy with it. I bought in my usual xs, and it fits true to size (oversized, but again, that’s the style). It’s a great alternative to the traditional LBD. For the price, I think it’s worth a shot. To me, it’s one of those pieces that you’ll either love or hate based on your shape bc the fit is unusual. I’m surprised it worked for me, but I’m happy it did!

Whoa the proportions are weird. There top half is twice as long as the bottom half. I keep looking at the pictures and being confused about if it’s even the same dress! It fits like a burlap sack with a loose belt that is falling off your butt. Maybe if you are a medium and order a small or xs it will work? I’m between sizes right now and thought I needed a large but holy cow it would seem that even a medium would fit like a burlap sack. Unless you can try it on or return it, don’t buy it.

I'm tall (5'9", 150 lbs) with long arms and a short torso. All leg, basically. I sized down to a small. The sleeves were long enough which was nice, but the elastic kept going to my waist so the top was very baggy and the bottom was real short. Felt a bit like a toddler. Could've been cute with some fancy tights. Decided to return because it came covered in lint right out of the bag. Definitely needs an anti-static treatment.

This is adorable, flattering and comfortable. I am a 4/6, 34 did and a small fits perfectly roomy, but not too big. Love how the skirt moves when walking. The pockets are chefs kiss. Score.

This dress is WAYYY to short, more like a long shirt, there is NO way you can wear this as a dress.

Material is nice and soft but the whole cut of the dress with the pockets was just a very unflattering fit. Doesn't look great on a curvy girl.

Cute in theory, and comfy fabric, but weird fit. Huge on top, like just so much fabric, but then it’s SO short it barely covers my butt. Had to return.

So it isn’t horrible but it is super short and the proportions are a bit weird. Like, I am really not sure what I’m looking at. Large arms that drag down but then so short. I think it could have been really cute but missed the mark!

Just purchased this dress and I am so pleased. It does run big so glad I sized down to a medium. I'm 5'1 and it falls just above my knee. It will be adorable with black tights. If you are a tall girl, this could be short on you, like really short. I don't find the pockets problematic at all, again that could be because I'm short. Looking forward to wearing this at holiday parties and dinners.

It’s very Mrs Claus. If you have a short torso don’t even bother. The pockets bulge out to the sides. Also runs big but it’s short.
