Women's Short Sleeve Knit Mini T-Shirt Dress - Ava & Viv™

Great but size up. Nice quality, nice length even for me (5’11). But runs small

I’m always down for a stripe, so I bought the olive green stripe earlier this summer on a whim since it was the only colour left in 1x. I have a smaller chest (40B) and tall-ish (5’9”), so I was expecting it to not work out, but it’s great! The length is similar to the model photos and it’s not overly baggy on me up top. If you have a larger busy or wider hips, you may need to size up to accommodate. I like the terry cloth-like fabric, but it’s probably not ideal for super hot and/or humid weather. It’s so easy to throw this dress on with leggings, denim jacket, and sneakers and feel reasonably put together while being comfy all day. I stumbled upon the black stripe and immediately ordered it for Fall. I’ll definitely be looking out for more stripe variants in the future!

The material of this dress is like a thin sweatshirt, which I like because it doesn't show all the lumps. I'm 5'5 and it hits right below my knees. I have a size 1x but I normally wear a 2x. I'm happy I sized down because I had plenty of space. It wasnt snug but it wasnt baggy either. It was a perfect fit and no shaper will be needed. The color I purchased was the black stripe and the stripes are cream/ivory. However, what I didnt like and why Im returning it, is just that it had no shape to it. It's cut straight down. No flare and no curve to it. If you're a curvy woman then it will work for you. For me, it was not flattering because I'm top heavy so I looked like the letters "P". LOL

I LOVE this dress so much, I’m not even taking off a star for no pockets (which would be nice). I only got it in two colors before my size sold out, though. Target, please bring this dress back! Maybe with pockets! I really wish I had seen the blue stripe before it was too late.

When I bought this, I saw knit and thought it would be like t-shirt material. It's heavier than that though. It's almost like the old terry cloth swim cover-ups from the 80's. I'll wear it and it's cute, but it's a bit heavy for summer.

This is the cutest little throw on and go dress. Dress it up or dress it down. I love mine with a cute little pair of sneakers and a Crossbody bag.

I was hesitant to buy this because of the negative reviews but Im so glad I did! I was very surprised by how good it looked on me. Perfectly showed off my curves and was easy to dress up.

Wanted to love, but absolutely hated it. It’s a thick and scratchy material on the inside for some random reason. And yes it runs small but I ordered a size up and the fit was fine, but it was too thick for a nice summer dress and too itchy for even trying to save for winter

Thick fabric with a fair amount of stretch. Perfect length (I’m 5’8”). It does run on the small side. I have three colors!

Runs small compared to other styles by this brand. There is no shape so just a rectangle with sleeves. Longer than photo represents. Im 5'10 and its below my knees which makes it frumpier looking. Im typically a 2x in ava and viv, 1x in universal thread. This in a 2x was too small in waist and hips.

I really love the fabric and sleeves and was super excited to find it, However it is not a mini at all. I'm 5'5 and it is below my knees, so it looks frumpy and not like the picture. Not sure if I will keep them and pay to hem. (I got 2 different colors) if you're tall this will be perfect for you.

I bought the white and navy striped dress and it's SO cute. Somehow it's more flattering than any other t-shirt dress I've ever tried. The material is thicker than I thought it would be. The item name says knit, but it reminds me of some terry cloth (on the inside) things I've bought in the past. Anyway, I'm thinking it might be too warm to wear on vacation at the beach, but I'm keeping it anyway. I'm going to keep an eye on this listing and see if it comes out in any other cute summery colors. I'm 5'2" and bought a 2X. It's down to my knees, which is a nice change because a lot of dresses are way too short, even though I'm on the short side.
