Women's Short Trench Coat - A New Day™

Target did it again!!! The Trench coat has a soft material and it’s classy! I purchased an XS. Typically, I wear a size small in blazers and tops, but I sized down to have a tailored fit. The size small was too baggy in the arms, waist , and chest. You can pair it with jeans or dress it up with a skirt or pant.

Great fit. So soft and very well made for the price.

I am wearing my usual size medium and felt the jacket fit true to size with some room for layers underneath. It’s a short style, hitting right at my hips and just below my waist. Two pockets. The material is nice and lightweight. It’s a jacket for mild temperatures, and is not going to keep you significantly warm. There is an odd flap of fabric on the right side of the chest that didn’t seem to have a purpose. But it didn’t get in the way. Overall a great option in this style. I am 5‘11” tall and found that the sleeves of this jacket were quite long for me and the torso covered my bottom as I would’ve had expected it too. I was pleased with the workmanship and the style of this jacket , and truly like the way it looked. I think that this jacket would be perfect for someone in my size and would recommend it. Although I can tell it is still wrinkled from the packaging I don’t think it fits me the best. The belt seems to fit too high for my waist and it just doesn’t tie right. I have ordered my typical size, which is a size large and it fits OK it’s just the belt loops are too high for my body type. Great idea for a spring jacket. I went with a size small, and it felt so bulky on me, and the arms were really long. It was not something I would where and did not look good on a petit body type.
