The pic doesnt do it justice….the taffeta fabric and heavy weight of it makes it more of a dressy dress. It’s styled more casual in the picture but I would wear this to a fancy dinner party or wedding!! I actually saw it in store in my normal XS and took it home to try. It’s a little big so came on here to see if it’s available in XXS and it is! Note tho there is no zipper the back is smocked so it has to stretch over your shoulders or hips. It has adjustable straps. I am 5’1” and 108 lbs and it hits me just above my ankle bone….perfect length to highlight pretty shoes!

Im shocked that this dress doesnt get 5 stars. Its so well made. The fabric is thick. You can tell this dress is going to be around for a long time. And it has pockets. It looks flattering on everyone as well. The price is steep though.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous on. I’m a wedding planner and I needed new dresses for the season. I walked into my target and saw this. I immediately knew I needed it! I didn’t try it on in store and they only had Small’s left so I thought I’d give it a shot (I usually wear a medium). I have a normal torso but short legs, so I thought this would be a bust, like most other dresses from target. OMG! It’s stunning. As I was putting it on, I said I would give it a 9/10. Then, I FOUND THE POCKETS. It’s beautiful and perfect for the black tie wedding I’m planning this weekend. For reference, I’m 5’ft, 160 pounds & 36D. A small fit me perfectly! It came to my ankles.

When I saw it in the store, it looked/felt heavy so I was worried but when I actually tried it on, it didn’t feel heavy at all. It’s definitely not a casual summer dress because the fabric is sturdy and heavy, it’s perfect for a cocktail attire event such as a wedding. It makes me look thinner than I actually am because I have a big belly and this dress hides it. I wear Medium or Large usually and sized down to a Small and it fits perfectly (could have squeezed into a XS one probably.)

I love this dress and I'm so happy I bought it in both colors. The fit is amazing and it looks so good on. Such a fun dress that I feel you can dress up or down.

This is gorgeous but very oversized. Sadly returning as the chest is gapping. This would be a gorgeous wedding guest dress.

Just received in the mail and was surprised as to how heavy the dress is. The material is a thick taffeta with a wavy pattern. I bought xxs and it was too big. I’m skinny, 32B, 24” waist, 5’2”. Too large on the bust, very poofy loose fit at waist as well. It’s a bit of an empire waist fit and was difficult to get on! Although it’s spaghetti straps, it would be tough to wear in hot weather. Quality is great but fit won’t be for everyone. Also a very prom, special event type dress. I wish it were light weight cotton. I’ll be returning it.

This dress is very well made and the design is unique despite the voluminous bottom half. I wear an XS and the top half of the dress was at least 2-3 sizes too big while the bottom fit great. I just purchased the XXS, hope it’s a better fit. For reference, I am a 32B in a bra and have a 27inch waist as well as a 35 1/2 hip. So if you are a busty lady this may just be perfect for you.

Nice material, but fit slightly large and was overall just not flattering on me.

I absolutely love this and wish it came in more colors. Material is divine. Looks like waaay more expensive fabric but is light and comfortable. Can be dressed up or down. And did I mention the pockets? Love.

I had to try it on when I saw the light on the taffeta fabric! It’s so pretty but I don’t have an event to buy it for. It is a heavier fabric and would be great for someone who has a night life(not me). It fit perfect, hit me just below mid calf (5’8) and a bit loose. But not enough to size down.

For reference, I'm 5'4 and have an hourglass figure. In person, this dress is ADORABLE. It has a lot of volume and a big diagonal ruffle across the skirt portion of the dress. It has a classic, retro moire finish that I didn't see in the pictures but is so cute in person. Unfortunately, it's just unwearable for me. It adds so much volume that I got swamped in it. I tried sizing down (it's pretty TTS but I was hoping to get less volume that way) but it was then too small in the bust and still had just so much volume with that ruffle. If you can make this work for you, you will have an amazingly cute LBD that you could wear for decades. It's just a classic. But I think it's probably going to be unflattering on a good portion of people who try it.

The dress seemed like it had potential but it’s a disaster. I’ve never worn a dress so heavy off the rack. There’s way too much material and I’m scratching my head what season this is for. If worn in the heat I think people would pass out. The online photo does not adequately showcase how much fabric the dress has. Also has a weird gleam/shine and so seems like a too-fancy outlier compared to the rest of this collection’s vibe. Get it together KS!

Runs very large. I normally wear a size 16/xl/36DDD. Bought a large and it is falling off. I feel like I might need to go down to a small. Fabric has a nice weight to it.

The fabric looks and feels expensive, and the cut elevates it beyond your basic black dress. Could easily dress this up for a formal occasion. I normally wear Medium and sized down to a Small because the bodice was loose.

Purchased this dress in XS for a party next week. It is so big that unfortunately I need to return it. I’m 5-3, 98lbs, usually wear size 0 or XS. I feel even XXS might be too big. Like someone else said, the fabric is thick and on a heavier side. The dress is great for a party but definitely not for daily outing for me.

I bought this as a casual summer dress, but it is very much a special occasion dress when you see it in person. The material is very thick and feels, as another reviewer mentioned, like an 80s prom dress. The overall structure of it was nice for what it was, and it was a good value, but at 5ft a size medium swallowed me, not only in length and overall volume, but the sizing runs large IMO. Unfortunately this one isn't a keeper for me, but if I were 6 inches taller with somewhere fun to go, I'd love to wear this.

Beautiful dress, looks MUCH more formal in person. The fabric has a texture and sheen to it and almost has a woodgrain look. It's very heavy so I wouldn't consider it a lightweight summer dress. Unfortunately, it runs huge, as does most of the non-linen KS items Target released. There are going to be a LOT of disappointed customers receiving their online orders over the next couple of weeks when they discover these items are simply enormous as compared to standard sizing. This dress doesn't have any zippers, so you would expect it to have a little extra give in addition to the elastic in the back, but it's excessively large. I could have sized down 2 sizes, but opted for 1 since I don't know how the fabric will respond after laundering.

Very luxurious great material fits true to size. Adjustable straps. Would recommend for a fancy party or dinner.

Did not like material bust way too big for size m. Big busted woman with small waist.
