Q: Are these nightgowns for tall women? I am 5'3 and 49 inches as the specifications state is the length of the nightgown would be extremely too long for me.

I purchased one, to test it. Loved it, and it became softer after laundering and no shrinkage. So I purchased four more, two white, one peach and one blue. Love them. Now I am purchasing two more, another peach and blue, so that I can have one for each day of the week so as not to wear them out. Even my husband likes them.

The most thing I love this sleep gown is the cotton is pre-shrunk so that you never have to worry about your garment shrinking in the wash. My home is always above 70F like my hubby prefers so I really like the short sleeves. It looks super cute with the lace cuff. It feels comfortable and the style is like what you see in the old movie, very pretty! It is true to the size but I purposely ordered it one size up but it seems not really necessary. This makes a perfect gift for yourself, mom, sisters or friends!

The length goes down mid thigh but almost to my knee. I am very surprised at how loose fitting it is. I'm a plus-size girl and it hides all of my curves but in a good way. It's incredibly comfortable to sleep in too. My husband thinks it's really sexy and elegant. To me, it looks expensive and stylish. I'm obsessed with it. I'll definitely be checking out other styles from this brand. I definitely recommend it.

I did also hope that it was a bit softer but that is just a personal preference. The fabric is fairly thin so this would be perfect for summer nights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Alexander Del Rossa - Women's Cotton Victorian Nightgown and right when I opened it, I noticed that the material was very stiff and didn’t feel like it was going to be very comfortable. I did like the lace collar and the lace trim on the bottom. I tried it on and I got the XL which is the size I wear and found that this was very much too big all the way around. I wore it to bed to see if it was comfortable. It was ok. Not uncomfortable enough to change out of but it was a little too long for me, I’m only 5 feet tall. It did keep me pretty cool through the night. I’m not sure if I would recommend this nightgown or not. It was just OK for me.
