Full disclosure I did not purchase these. Why? One look at the material Contant, which has no stretch, and I immediately dismissed the idea of buying them. Come on, Target, you should know better!!

These shorts do run a size or two small, depending on how you need them to fit. HOWEVER, they are my favorite shorts this season, I like them better than my Levi's. I ended up wearing my first pair on repeat while on vacation and buying 2 more pairs for the summer. I am a smaller waist, bigger in the thigh girly and normally a 10/12 at Target and 5'8".. I got a 14 and they fit great.

As the prev comments state, you need to size up. But also there’s no stretch so even with the bigger sizes it was still no stretch for thighs and butts so it gave everything a flat look.

Wanted to love these but like others have mentioned, they are sized VERY small. You will need to SIZE UP 1 or 2 sizes!!! I'm normally a 4, I ordered 4s & 6s since these had no stretch. The size 6s were WAY too small. I ordered these online; now I'm going to have to go in-store and spend time trying on other sizes. I hope I'll still get the sale price if I exchange? Also, I had the shorts shipped to me and they all had a nasty chemical smell to them.

The design is nice but I wouldn't buy it again because the sizing is so strange. I consistently wear a size 6 in target branded pants and shorts, sometimes a 4, but I sized up to a size 8 on these based on reviews. They're TINY. If I wanted to wear them I would have to get a size 10 or 12, probably. And even that may be too small.

Love these! Sizing is goofy tho. I went in store to try them on. I’m normally between a 6-8 and tried on both. Ended up with a size 8, they fit the hips but kinda big around the waste. The 6’s were tight around the waist, I wish they’re wasn’t such a jump in sizing between the two.

Sizing is really off. I am going to have to size up at least two sizes from my normal size to fit in these. I am 130 and 5’-5” and bought a size 4 and can not get them on. They also have a all buttons no zipper. Which is noted and no photos of that fly. I would also consider these SUPER high waisted. If they fit they could be cut. Feel durable. Very fitted as noted on the tag but I think I would prefer something not so tight around the leg.

I really like the look of these shorts. The denim feels thick enough to hold up over time. I bought these on sale so price wasn’t a huge issue considering denim shorts and jeans tend to be on the more pricey size. The one thing I don’t like about these shorts are that after every wash I’ve noticed the cut off part of the shorts tend to bundle up. So when I wear them I have to flatten out the bottom part on my thighs so it doesn’t bunch up.
