Women's Knit Midi Pencil Skirt - Wild Fable™

This skirt is incredibly soft and stretchy and comfortable. However, bizarrely it has this big flap around the hips. If you have a big hip to waist ratio like I do, this weird flap just wads up around the waist instead of laying flat and smooth over the hips. Super annoying and unattractive. Luckily for me I sew, so I cut it off and will be refinishing the waistband myself, but if I couldn’t do that it would be an immediate return. Which is a shame because it looks so great with the matching tank! So basically if you have hips, beware

It is made of very soft and stretchy fabric and super comfortable to wear, but it is definitely not an item I’ll be wearing anywhere. I am a size fourteen to a sixteen and ordered this item in a size extra extra large. It fit me fine but again, just not very flattering on my figure at all. I absolutely loved the soft feel of this material. The coral color is also a very beautiful. This is a perfect skirt for the summer season. I loved that it had a roll over on the top which made it look so unique. It is a great skirt for a very reasonable price point. I received an incentive to write this review.

The top has a fold over piece that I don’t think is the most flattering depending on how you would wear it. I am wearing a size medium, which is my normal size. This skirt fits me well but I would feel more comfortable in a size large with a bit of a looser fit. Overall I like the color but don’t love the skirt. I received an incentive to write this review.

I am 5’4 and it definitely hit longer on me than the model, coming down to around my ankles but I still like it. The material is so soft and stretchy and I found it to be very flattering. I would say the fit on this skirt was pretty perfect. I really like the stretch in the fabric. The quality feels nice. The waist band was a little difficult to get to just lay as nice as I wanted it to, but not a huge issue. I also really like the orange color I picked, goes well with a nice black or white top.
