Women's Longline Blazer - A New Day™ Dark Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This womens extra extra small blazer fits true to size but is made to have a more oversized look. It has a tunic length so it can be worn with so many things. It can easily be dressed up or worn casually. The material is a woven dark chocolate brown. The blazer is a medium weight. The blazer has flap pockets and two buttons that close the front. There is a slit in the back of the blazer. I received an incentive to write this review.

Long lines and boxy from the other reviews is accurate, but that’s the style now. My issue with this piece is that it’s poorly constructed with little structure, it just flops and hangs on you without the smart, tailored look a blazer should have. The fabric on this is the worst aspect. Even if the construction and fit were good, this fabric literally feels like a kind of burlap for a scarecrow costume. It’s so gross to touch. Returning.

I normally wear a size medium and this is baggy on me I think I would recommend most people to size down in this brand and style of blazer. The quality of the fabric is very thick and well made and I think it will last a long time. I also really love the big buttons on the front I think they will hold well and not break easily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This long line blazer by A New Day has an overall boxy fit. I ordered my usual size medium and it felt a bit too big. The sleeves were slightly too long and the shoulders a bit too wide. That could be the oversized fit of the jacket but it was hard to tell. The lapels didn’t lay right which could be fixed once the jacket is out of the package longer. I didn’t love the brown color. It felt a little dull. Overall it was just okay for me. The length was right and the length of the sleeves is very appropriate. It was not too baggy, but not too tight. I did think the overall style of the blazer was a bit too boxy for me. If looking for a men’s style blazer, this would be a good fit. But I would appreciate a blazer that is more fitted and feminine. I received an incentive to write this review.
