Women's Maxi Ballet Dress - A New Day™ White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this white ballet style maxi dress online. The dress took forever to arrive, I'm not sure what the delay was, but once it finally came, I was very pleased. For the price of this dress, the quality and design is very good. The top of the dress is like a bodice style. It's very form fitting on top, with an A-line skirt. It's very flattering. The material is heavy, almost like a denim. I am wearing a size xs and it fits perfectly. Typically I am a size 2 to 4 and am 5'4". The dress is longer on me than it looks online on the model in the photos. I am happy with this purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’6” and 130lbs. I bought my usual size small and it was too tight to zip all the way up ( my chest is a 34-36 B ). So it does run a little small. The dress is a thick poplin, but it is still a little sheer for my liking. It also has this ribbing that looks like boning (but it is not true hard boning) and it goes all the way down the length of the dress not just the top. It does give the dress a corset like look as well. I received an incentive to write this review.

Unfortunately though I am between a S and M and have to return both! But the dress is really great looking, and I regret that I can't keep it.

I ordered a size small in this dress which seems to fit a little more snug in the chest area yet fits very well elsewhere. I think a size medium would have fit better on me. The material feels like a slightly heavier denim. I like that the zipper is located on the side of the dress, however, it was a little tough to slide up and down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This maxi dress in size S fit true to size. It was made of a mid weight material and although white it was not really see through. It is a little wrinkle prone though. The design had white strips down the length of the dress which I did not care too much for. Had a wide neck style and maxi length hit just about to the floor for me so pair with strappy heels for a spring or cool summer outing. For reference I’m 5’4” and measure at 32-28-38.
