Beautiful dress but it sheds like CRAZY! Sadly returning it.

I loved this dress online and couldn’t wait to get it to wear to our work Christmas party. Well I guess I wasn’t the only one with that same idea because it came to me with makeup stains around the collar and hair intertwined throughout! The darn thing had been worn and returned, then sent directly to me! The pics are of the dress straight out of the bag. Now I can say the dress was very pretty and soft.

I honestly loved this dress. As someone who is sensitive to texture, I typically don’t wear anything with wool in it, but surprisingly it didn’t bother me. The color, the fit, the length - everything was perfect. BUT, it sheds like crazy! It hasn’t been cold enough to wear it, so it’s simply been hanging, but there are white fibers everywhere. Sadly, this will be going back.

This dress fit me so beautiful, great weight and stretch… hit me just right everywhere. But.. and it’s a big but… it was the itchiest thing I’ve ever put on and I’m not usually texture sensitive. I wanted to love it but as it hung in my closet it was also shedding white stuff everywhere.. to the point it was ridiculous… because the material quality was so poor I decided I had to return it. Sad… a few things I loved this year have been such poor quality material I couldn’t keep them. Currently on the hunt for a higher quality version now.

Yeah, I missed the part where it says wool lol. As soon as I put it on, I started itching 😑. This dress fits bomb so I wanted to love it but the itching brought me back to reality. Sadly, I have to return it.

So flattering and stretchy!

I wasn't sure about the material, or the cut of the arms, but this is one of the most flattering dresses - let alone sweater dresses - that I've ever put on! It's not super fuzzy, could pass for a faux mohair type material. While the arm holes look quite low cut on the model, they hit me a little higher. I have toned arms and shoulders and this shows them off in the best way possible. It's bodycon but the color and nock neck make it sophisticated and versatile. I am 5'7", size 4 and the small fits me perfectly.

I adore this dress. The length and fit are perfect. It’s a midi on me at 5’7. I sized down from my normal size large to a medium. It does have stretch and is made of a fuzzy which is not bad. It feels soft and no worries the material does not appear to shed. Will style on IG iamsharonda1. Buy the dress and pair with boots, booties, or heels. It’s beautiful in person.
