This sizing for this robe follows the US standard size chart, so as long as you're choosing your typical size for most other brands, the fit will be spot on. A: Hello! This robe is made from waffle knit which is a polyester-based fabric that has a lot of stretch without using elastane (spandex). This makes the fabric softer and lighter than similar fabrics with stretch that use an elastane. After first wash fabric holds static and clings to everything. Can’t get my hair or cat hair off of it through washing or lint rolling. It looks terrible and I missed the return window so it’s going into the trash.

I purchased this robe for me to wear in the hospital before and after my C-section. It is extremely comfortable and soft. It isn’t a very thick material, so it doesn’t keep you the warmest, but I still strong recommend it.

Do not buy this if you are planning to use it as an actual bathrobe out of the shower/bath. The fabric will cling to your wet skin and feels awful. It’s not absorbent. It is also almost completely see-through. It would work as a light cover over pajamas but not a functional bathrobe.

It has pockets which was a big big plus for me because I can put whatever I need to in the pockets. The fit is great, definitely true to size. Highly recommend.

The waffle knit fabric is super soft and feels lightweight on. It washes well and I’m also able to pack it in my carry on for trips. Love the look of this one too, feels slightly more modern compared to my older chunkier ones. Highly recommend!

I love the mint green color as well. I’ve washed it a few times and the material does not pill at all which is great.
