Comfy but not durable

I bought 2 pairs of these for kayaking in cold weather. They are super comfy, great footbeds, and the calf is wide enough for my large calves. However...just about a year later, both pairs have begun to leak at the sole-to-upper seam. The green ones have additionally just sort of lost integrity in muchbof the upper: see photo. Attempts to seal the leaks with a couple different leak seal products failed, as the rubber coat is too slick for the products to adhere. Note that these were used while peddling a pedal-driven kayak, so it may be that they simply don't hold up to constant bending. Might be fine for casual walking

Comfort Pros and Cons

I bought a pair of these boots in July to wear for work (8+ hrs 5 days/week at a stable) because I wanted something muck-proof, easy to clean off, and able to keep hay and sawdust from getting in my socks. I love the drawstring top. The pattern is cute which is always a plus, but most importantly it serves the function I wanted it to and stops itchy hay and sawdust from irritating my feet and becoming permanently embedded in my socks. However, I have mixed feelings about some of the Forager boot's other qualities. They are made of very soft and flexible rubber, which I love because it's comfortable to wear, moves naturally with my body instead of altering or impeding my gait, and makes the boots super easy to slip on and off. However, the downside is that they are not as protective or durable as other types of barn boot. I sometimes get stepped on by horses, and these provide little protection in comparison with a leather work boot or a boot made of stiff, thick rubber. I don't find it to be a safety hazard, but it's good to keep in mind. After three months of use, my boots do have a small hole in them, but I am willing to chalk that up to the strain of a couple incidents including pitchforking my own foot and being stepped on and knocked down by a large horse. I am going to try to repair the hole and keep using my original pair of Foragers, but I have just purchased another pair in case that doesn't work. Most other barn boots probably wouldn't have torn as quickly, but because the softness of the rubber is a comfort upgrade for me I'm paying for another pair and hoping for the best. The other thing I both like and dislike about these boots is the sole. It's flexible and moves naturally and comfortably with my foot as I walk, and it has good traction. Unfortunately, the sole is not very thick and doesn't provide much cushion or shock absorption, so I feel every single rock I step on during the day. The sole does provide enough protection and support for that not to hurt exactly, but I'm much more conscious of what I'm stepping on while wearing these. I also have ankle and knee problems, so after a day or two spent on the concrete stable floor my knees give me trouble and I have to switch to a shoe with more shock absorption for a while. Because I do genuinely find these boots to be very comfortable in all other ways, I'm planning to try some shock absorbing insoles in my boots so I can wear them for more than a day or two in a row. TL;DR – These cute boots have an fantastic drawstring top and their softness and flexibility makes them easy to put on and forget you're wearing them. Just be prepared for some durability and sole comfort tradeoffs due to those good qualities.

Bought these a month ago, regardless of the reviews. I was desperate to find boots that I could brush clear in that were not black in the hot sun. I can destroy a pair of Merrils in less than 10 months. Wearing daily on the mountain - super comfortable. Loathe to take them off in the evening. Wore them shore fishing at a lake yesterday - standing in water, sunk 10" into muck. No leaks. The only issue was some high octane off-gassing for the first 2 weeks or so. This is bliss compared to my wildly uncomfortable black rain boots. Might buy a second pair in case the integrity lives up to its reputation.

I bought these boots less than a year ago. I had been satisfied with wearing them when I was on my dog walking job and the ground was wet or it was raining out. Last month the top of the toe area split open near the seam. I don't know why it split and only one of the pair split. Now they leak when it is wet. I would not recommend this boot as the longevity is not what I expected. They were comfy and attractive but not well made.

I love these boots so much but I’m so disappointed that I cannot get one of the stickers off that are on the printed inside of the boot, when you roll it down it shows. Any suggestions on how to remove the sticker without damaging the material

I’ve only worn the boots four times and they’re very comfortable. I normally wear a size 5 shoe and ordered a size 5 boot, but they were a little snug, so I contacted the company and they quickly sent me a return label and within a week I had the correct size boot. The size 6 fit my size 5 foot perfectly. They seem to be much more sturdy than my previous rain/work boots that always seem to crack after just a few weeks. They wash up nicely in the sink too.

Best purchase of shoes ever

These boots are better than I could’ve imagined. They are comfortable, tall (with the ability to wear shorter), durable, pretty and fun/unique colors. I love them. My close friend also bought a pair. They’re great for herping and also checking Eastern Bluebird boxes in tall wet grass. They’re even comfortable for just leisurely walking. I love them so much! If anything does happen to them, I’ll be buying another pair asap.

Let me start off by saying that I will buy at least 3 pairs of Muck boots a year. We own a kennel and it’s nothing for me to be in a pair of mucks at least 17hrs a day. And I’m ok with replacing them every 4-6 months. I have also been fortunate enough to have a smaller foot and to be able to purchase youth sizes. I have always had a great experience with the muck brand to the point I refuse to buy any other brand... I found these and instantly wanted them. I purchased this pair March 11th, 2023.. the first pair of muck boots in an adult size I have ever purchased. I bought this particular model because they were extremely light and the option to have a tall boot or roll it down and that they were waterproof.. Unfortunately this pair has to be hands down the worst pair I have ever purchased. Lasted 1 MONTH! Though I loved how light they were and my feet didn’t hurt nearly as bad at the end of the day. The quality is very poor to say the least. On both boots it started to rip on the toe seam making them useless almost immediately. (No one wants wet feet by any means but I definitely don’t want wet feet especially when cleaning kennels out 3 times a day. Nope no Thank you.) so back to my youth size go to for the last 3 years..

Over the years I bought several set of boots from Muck Boots and always had a great experience and boots that lasted ... Less than a year ago I bought this particular model and I loved them, they are very comfy and also extremely light and that is what I wanted : a lightweight pair of boots .... Well less than a year later they are already cracking at tthe seams on both feet !! The quality is very poor and it looks like many reveiws have the same problem ... I will try to glue them and use them for dry weather (yes I still need to use boots in dry weather) ... so sad the quality is not better, they are super light to wear ...

Comfortable with a wife calf, but got holes REALLY fast. I had recommended this pair to two friends, both of whom got them and were a little let down when weeks into our conservation work they'd gotten holes. But they're very comfortable and ultimately very waterproof when not all holed up.
