I have a standard/entry level sewing machine on this desk (nothing heavy duty), and the weight of it has bowed the top of this desk so the drawer no longer closes correctly. Attractive but apparently not built to have anything setting on top.

This desk is quality! Easy to put together (or so my husband says). The drawer is a good depth, although I wish the larger size came with a one drawer option, for aesthetic purposes. I work from home three days a week, so a 36 inch desk isn’t really the best option but it’s so cute!! My biggest complaint with this desk is that a traditional desk chair (Allsteel) doesn’t fit all the way under it which makes it a pain to have in a highly trafficked area of our house.

I bought this for use as a small desk. I was expecting some issues after reading some of the reviews, but it came with no defects or parts missing. It was very securely packaged to prevent damage. lt took about 2 hours to get everything together - mainly because some of the angled screw holes were difficult to line up. Once everything was secured, it proved to be very solid. The drawer works flawlessly I keep a monitor and printer on the top and store keyboard and mouse in the drawer. I don't know what the weight limit is, but I haven't had any indication that it is anything but stable.

I absolutely love this desk. i love the color, i love the size & it is exactly what i thought it was going to be! This was super easy to put together. all the parts were delivered & there was no damage! It took roughly 40 min to put together. I will say it is a bit pricey & it is good quality, but it definitely shouldn’t cost as much as it does. It is the perfect amount of storage for me. Everyone reviewing saying “it’s too small” or “not enough storage” or “not the size expected” should’ve got out a measuring tape & looked at all the pictures, just saying! the sizes are accurate & the pictures are accurate as well. I will insert a few pictures of my own. The drawer: the drawer holds a 5 subject notebook, a planner & folder comfortably all stacked on top of eachother! it is roughly 3 notebooks wide & roughly 2 thick (5 subject notebooks, which are bigger than the standard size). I am using this for college schoolwork, also the laptop on the desk is 15in (for reference!)

This was the most difficult thing I have ever put together in terms of getting everything to lineup. I have assembled many of pieces of furniture on my own, numerous times. This required two people. The quality is not so good, but I caught it on a great sale…I would have been upset if I had paid full price for this. The directions are all in pictures and the ink on the instructions bookleT was blurry. Needless to say, I dropped a few potty words.

SMALL. I was really looking forward to this and knew it was small but I mean it’s really small. The drawer will fit a few SMALL office essentials (notepad, pen, etc). Also, the quality for the price I think is lacking. Feels flimsy and came with scuffs throughout. Front drawer wasn’t glued properly so it’s a splinter accident waiting to happen. Was eyeing this for so long and truly disappointed.

Love the desk but it was missing several pre-drilled holes in the assembly of the drawer. I decided to go without them and will likely go back later and drill the holes if need be but it seems plenty sturdy as is as these were small screws. We shall see. Overall in love with this collection.

One star unfortunately, the quality sucks!! Very disappointed because I wanted this to work out. It’s super cute looking but 5 minutes into building it literally crumbled as I was sliding the piece around into a different direction (didn’t bang it or hit it on anything, it literally just fell over onto itself after attaching it by cam bolts) and yes I attached it right & no they were not loose or over tightened. Looks nice but not worth it. Less than 1/2 of particle board and its expected to attach and hold.. umm no. I love Target and the Magnolia line but this is a no go for me
