Q: Is the tabletop solid Rubberwood or a veneered Rubberwood? Also, noted as a medium density wood, will this wood ding or dent easily when bumped in normal day to day use?
A: Hello Declutterer - Thank you for your Question! This item is a Solid Rubberwood. We suggest you to use soft microfiber cloth (either dry or slightly dampened) for cleaning the surface and try to avoid chemical-based cleaner. It doesn't dent or ding when following care instruction and it's a perfect product for families and for normal day to day use. I hope it helps - Juliette.

Q: Is there enough of an overhang at each end to allow for a chair and a comfortable place setting? The two online photos don’t match. The 1st photo appears to have no end overhang, but the 2nd photo does show overhangs Which one is correct? Thx!
A: Hello Declutterer - We appreciate your enquiry. The table has a slight overhang, but it's designed for a clean-lined look with minimal overhang. It should provide enough space for chairs and place settings, but may not have a large overhang at the ends. - Rick.

Q: What is the best way to clean this table? Just water? A specific cleaner?
A: Hi Ag -- Thank you for reaching out! Apart from the general swipe with a duster wand every now and then, we recommend using a soft microfiber cloth (either dry or slightly dampened) for most cleaning upkeep. Always avoid letting water or other liquids sit on the surface for too long and use a mild soap should any stubborn stains occur during use. Avoid chemical-based cleaners, which can degrade the wood.

Q: Can you paint this table?
A: Hi Courtneyyy -- Thank you for reaching out! It's important to note that if you were to entertain a DIY painting effort on this amazing dining table, for best results you would first have to sand through the top layers of stain and lacquer to get to the natural wood. Hope this helps!

Q: The description of the color of this table says natural, although some of the photos show a grayish c9lor. I would like to know the color of this table before ordering.
A: Hi Bonjaha -- Thank you for reaching out! At this time, this table only comes in a natural wood coloring. If you're seeing gray anywhere it's likely a direct result from the screen's light settings of the electronic device you're viewing this product on. Please also note that each table is unique in overall appearance due to the natural variability in wood appearance and surface treatment. Hope this helps!
