Wooden Monitor Stand with Drawer Naturals - Threshold™

I bought 2 of these for my work monitors. They are a great storage solution for post-its and miscellaneous items and help hide cords! Drawers work well too; very cute and a good buy overall.

This was my second purchase of this item. The first one is great but this one came warped, unleveled, and a very sticky substance on the top of it. Also it was packaged in a large box without any packing material. Not happy.

I like it! Conveniently available at target to just grab and put in my cart, well priced and good looking minimal design!

Not only did this thing literally fall apart as I was carrying it into the house, it also gifted me with a nice splinter in my hand. Poor quality - wish I had seen it online first for the reviews

Great addition to my desk top. Very sturdy and solid materials

This unit is just what I needed to get more storage on a static shelf. I placed my printer on top and store paper in the drawer. Looks good, no squeaking. Price was higher than I think it’s worth but it fits perfectly.

OMG I wish I would have listened to the reviews before purchasing. It’s very pretty but the drawers are excruciating to listen to when you open them. It’s WORSE than nails on a chalkboard. Very much regretting my purchase.

Its honestly terrible! Straight off the shelf the drawer is horrible– no track means its straight up wood sliding against wood. Being wooden *would* be the only thing this stand has going for itself, but its so poorly finished its already splintering! I was going to describe the sound as feeling like nails on a chalkboard, but then realized that nails on a chalkboard perfectly describes the sound this exemplar of a cash grab makes. Not the quality I've come to expect from Threshold.

The drawer was not opening properly and I discovered the nails that should have fastened the top of the box to the sides were sticking out into the drawer instead of into the wooden sides. This is where I should have made the 75 mile trip to return the box to the store. Instead, I pried off the top to remove the nails and refastened it with brads. The top board was warped so it took a lot of brads to make it stay down. Next, all the holes from the nails and brads had to be filled and sanded. That didn't look good, so I decided to paint it. By then, I had so much time into rebuilding the box, I wasn't about to give up. The initial coat of paint soaked right in because the wood was cheap and porous--sort of like balsa wood. So I ended up filling the grain, sanding and priming the wood before painting again. The box looks pretty good now except the drawer still doesn't slide easily due to poor design and cheap materials. Total cost: $35 to Target for box; $36 for filler, primer, paint, brushes, and sandpaper; excluding labor and gas to go buy materials. I do not recommend this solution. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS ITEM! I would give this 0 stars if I could. What is wrong with Target buyers for putting junk like this in their stores when it can only create ill will?

The wooden top was warped and the rows of nails holding it down popped out. It required a nail gun to reattach the lid which left more nail holes than were already there. I would hesitate to put a monitor on top of the flimsy wood. The handle looks cheap. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Do not buy!

This is cheaply made and unlike what the other review said, the one I got was not sturdy at all. Instead of being nailed together, it used wood pegging. The wood was warped and it literally fell apart when I tried to set it up. There wasn’t any adhesive to hold it together, so I’m not sure what they were going for with this one. Usually, Target does a great job with their items, but this was a royal miss. I went back to the store to find a replacement and the one on display should not have been on display at all.

Gave it two stars just for it looking nice, the drawer is made of wood and has no track so it makes a loud screeching sound when pulling it out/in

This was super cute in store. Bought it for my desk at work. Took it to work and set it up only to find out that when you open and close the drawer it makes the worst sound. Sounds like nails on a chalkboard due to the wood drawer sliding against the wood frame. There's no way the drawer would be usable, my coworkers would hate me. Had to return. 2 stars due to they are seemed super sturdy and held my computer monitor.
