Q: When the beds are separated are they actually identical to eachother? I don't think it is possible looking at the design of the beds. One would have posts that go up, and one would not.

A: Mattress thickness should not exceed 7 inches, mattress width should be between 38-38.5" and length should be 74-75 inches
