A superb resource by experts in religious demography, the third edition of the World Christian Encyclopaedia develops familiar methods to provide up-to-date and detailed information on the global spread and diversity of Christianity. An invaluable tool for all those working in this area.-- "Dr Emma Wild-Wood, Centre for the Study of World Christianity, University of Edinburgh"
The editors have, in putting together this data, assembled a document that will likely be the benchmark for reference books on Christian religious demography for the foreseeable future. This formidable effort negotiated substantial difficulties of communication, data collection, and researcher availability to present a sound, credible reference work. The highly skilled editorial team's success in obtaining, collating, and creatively presenting highly complex data eloquently articulates the story of one of the most remarkable centuries in the growth of Christianity. I commend this book to scholars and missionaries alike, who will find this an indispensable asset for their work.--Kyama M. Mugambi, Centre for World Christianity at Africa International University "Global Missiology Vol. 4, No. 17"
