[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the idea of this product, but from the first use it over heats and you have to wait an hour to continue to do the work. The bag holds little and falls off all the time. Should of returned it. I own a worx lawnmover and snowblower and love them. Wish I could get it fixed or exchanged

This product works well does what it is supposed to do. Only negative for me is that that bag doesn't work well , thatch builds under the bag and pops it off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easiest way to dethatch your lawn! Plug it in and off you go! This work horse even worked great on way to thick St Augustine grass! My husband loves that I can handle this all by myself!

It did it’s job and did it well. I had no idea there was that much thatch in my lawn. My lawn is more vibrant and healthier than it’s ever been and this product helped it get that way.

After damaging my lawn mower by using a thatching blade, I decided to try the Worx Lawn Thatcher. WG850 It performs great. Because I also thatch half way through the summer, the 3 level height setting is very helpful. But the grass catching bag is too small to be helpful. I don't use it. However, A Shout Out: Congratulations to your customer support rep. Initials NJ. Its so nice to speak to a rep who is friendly, professional and helpful. That seems to be so rare these days.

I didn’t know much about thatching but decided I would give this a try. Wishes it was battery powered but that will come with time. I have only used this one day so far on the parkway between the pool fence and the yard. It took the misc plants, clover, dandelions and such out and left only the grass. I filled 3 lawn and leaf bags full, I am impressed.

The thatcher saved us a lot of time and did it’s job. However, it looses its power after a few rows due to overheating. It worked better without the attached bag. Overall, we like the unit and reduced raking time. Well worth the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love all of my other Worx tools, but this dethatcher was very disappointing. The handle was missing pre-drilled pilot holes, I had to drill them myself. The angle and height of the handle is non-adjustable. The angle causes the front to dig in to the ground. The wheel-height adjustment does not stay put. I couldn't go more than a few feet before they come out of selected position. The unit only bagged about a 1/10th of what was dethatched. Just overall, this item is sub-par to the other Worx tools I have. I had to return it.

I purchased the WG850 at my local Canadian Tire. I returned it two hours later. Upon opening the box sand appeared everywhere. I removed the cover and vacuumed all sand that could be seen. When I started the motor it lasted 5-10 seconds before burning out. It is interesting that the bag full of sand that ruptured seems that it is supposed to be there. Maybe to give this unit some weight??

Please understand that we do not anticipate this with our product, and we strive hard to maintain the integrity of our brand. We will contact Canadian Tire to ensure that this does not happen again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good operation. Wound up with 5 full yard bags of thatch. The highest setting for the prongs works best out-of-the-box. Two more settings available for deeper thatching or as needed over time. Unlike the battery-driven tools, this one requires an electrical cord, which takes some adjustments during operation.

I purchased my dethatcher a month ago and i am completely satisfied with its performance. It is lightweight in weight only as I was able to do 75X50 front lawn with out wearing myself out and the machine was more than powerful enough to dethatch a severely heat damaged lawn. Assembly was very easy, only took a few minutes. Good product Worx!
