Description

The Worx Landroid M is here to give lawn owners their weekends back. It comes with a robust 4.0Ah high-capacity Power Share battery and a wider 8-in. cutting width to mow up to a 1/4 acre. You’ll never have to cut your lawn again once you set up your Landroid. Just place the charging base, lay the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and secure it with pegs, and finish setup on the handy Landroid App. You can even control Landroid and schedule mowing times from the App, without ever getting off your couch. It’s packed with cutting-edge tech to ensure it does a good job and leaves you with a lawn you can be proud of. The patented AIA (Artificial Intelligence Algorithm) allows it to navigate narrow passages with ease (something other robotic mowers have trouble with). And its Floating Blade Disc automatically raises the blades when Landroid encounters uneven terrain, so it doesn’t get trapped or stuck. Plus, it’s powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor that runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful, and offers 10% longer life compared to mowers with brushed motors. The Landroid M is the next generation of robotic lawn mowers, with more performance and functionality to take on bigger yards.

I have tried numerous different ways to make this product actually work and they have all failed horribly. The app for it is horrible as well. This thing isn't worth the plastic it's made out of much less $1000

2-month comprehensive review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had concerns about the ability of the mower prior to purchase. I am particular about my lawn and wasn't sure that I wanted to give up the neat rows and patterns I created with my electric push mower. I have mobility issues and decided to give this mower a try despite my concerns. In summary, the mower actually works quite well but it will take time and patience to get the mower to be near autonomous. After 6 weeks I am still making adjustments and/or assisting the mower in finding the charging base and also helping it get unstuck. I spent about 4 hours placing the guide wire. The wire DOES start to disappear after a few weeks as claimed by WORX. Grass clipping quickly cover the wire. I was suprised by the buried depth of the wire when I pulled it up in places to make adjustments. The initial mistakes I made were placing the wire to close to a change in elevation. In my case, the lawn drops about four inches to the sidewalk in front of my house. The mower had too much momentum when it approached the sidewalk and it often went "out of bounds" requiring me to manually put it back "in bounds". My solution was to relocate the wire about 20 inches from the edge of the lawn. Keep in mind areas where you use a string trimmer so that you aren't disturbing the guide wire. Also keep in mind areas where a snowblower or plow might tear up the guide wire. The other major annoyance it that the mower tends to dig holes when it tries to change direction, especially when it tries to change direction on uneven ground. Steering is accomplished by one wheel moving in the opposite direction of the other (bulldozer/tank style). The mower often gets stuck in the holes it just dug and has also dug up and cut the guide wire. Now - if after reading everything above - you are still considering by the mower; read on for the what I like about the mower. The first time the mower started mowing automatically and then returned to its base without involvement from me, I was thrilled. Like magic, my lawn was mowed and looked great. The random mowing pattern was not as bad looking as I expected because mowing is continuous. I like that the lawn always looks "just mowed" compared to cutting it once a week with the push mower and having the lawn look so-so after only a few days. Despite my lawn being only a 1/16 of an acre, I opted for the 1/4 acre mower. I tried the 1/8 acre mower but exchanged it. The 1/4 acre mower has 2 wheels in the front vs 1, has a battery that is 2x as large and also seems quicker that the 1/8 acre mower. I continue to make small adjustments to the guide wire and the mower needs "saving" less and less. My advice in placing the guide wire is to place it knowing that you will need to make adjustments based on how the mower handles terrain. As long as you set your expectations ahead of time and are willing to spend many weeks making adjustments, you should be very happy with this mower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two, because after the first 25 years of use, I have a back-up for the next 25. After you setup the wire, do a little setup on your phone or tablet, It's on it's own. It will cut and cut, and cut. You can do a little trimming and your set.

Good robot lawnmower but...

I like the Landroid but the app could have more features like give you the option to control the Landroid via remote control. After each mow, there always seems to be at least 2 or more spots that it clearly missed so it would be nice to simply remote control it to each spot rather than hope it just gets to those spots next time. I also wish it had an easier way to recover from an error. Lastly, I'm still hoping for Worx to come up with the first robot lawnmower with LiDAR technology so that it can map out my yard automatically and can set no-go areas easily via the app like my robot vacuum does.

Larr-E the Landroid Delivers

Tried a competitors robot and it was Not Good. Thankfully I was able to return. I took that money, bought the Landroid and put some money back in my pocket. This robot does what it should, connects to your phone with multiple options, wifi, Bluetooth, etc., But will also just go from it's robot brain. This is a no brainier if you don't want to mow your lawn or get HOA notices about how your lawn looks. Did I have to lay boundary wire, yes, did it take time, yes, but am I going to save money, time and sweat in the long run, YES! read the instructions, make sure the wire doesn't just hang out for Larr-E to try to drive over and over and eventually cut and you'll be happy. This is a great product that will save you time assuming you install it correctly.

Effortlessly Maintain a Beautiful Lawn with the La

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The landroid lawn mower is an absolute game-changer when it comes to lawn care. This robotic mower takes all the hassle and hard work out of mowing your lawn, leaving you with a perfectly manicured yard without ever lifting a finger. One of the standout features of the landroid is its advanced sensor system, which allows it to navigate your lawn with ease and precision. Whether you have a small, simple yard or a larger, more complex one, this mower can handle it all. It's also incredibly efficient and will save you time and energy by doing the work for you. Another great thing about the landroid is how eco-friendly it is. Because it's electric and doesn't require gas, it's much better for the environment than traditional lawn mowers. It also runs very quietly, so you don't have to worry about disturbing your neighbors or the peace and quiet of your own backyard. Overall, I would highly recommend the landroid lawn mower to anyone looking to simplify their lawn care routine and enjoy a beautiful, well-manicured yard without all the hard work. It's reliable, efficient, and easy to use, making it a must-have for any homeowner.

It's absolutely adorable scooting around my back yard not having a clue where it's going, but it has yet to cut a blade of grass. I've lowered those teeny tiny microscopic blades twice and still isn't cutting anything. Worse part is my family said not to buy it and were upset that I spent so much money on it, now they get to say "I told you so." Words cannot expressed how upset I am at wasting so much money on this thing, and now I have to hire someone to cut my grass after all.

Hello there! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. After initially installing the Landroid, we recommend having the grass cut to the height that you want the Landroid to maintain. Since the Landroid cuts your lawn through the week, you may not notice that it is cutting your lawn. To further assist you with your concerns, I have reached out to you via email. Thank you for choosing WORX tools!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had the Landroid for a few weeks so it's still in evaluation mode. I came up short on the boundary wire and had to order an extension kit. Only a 1/4 acre. After laying the boundary wire, the mower was off and running. I had to make a few adjustments in the wire layout for turns but overall it worked well. I'm still waiting for the grass to grow a bit so I can get a better idea of how it cuts. So far, it's evened everything up nicely. There needs to be an option for longer wire stakes for sand. Mine keep popping out of the ground.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so thrilled I finally decided to purchase a robotic lawnmower. I have been debating a long time. Too long looking back, as it is one of the best decisions ever! I researched how to install the wire and I was a meticulous about installing it. I would rather do it right the first time than have issues with it later. I have never had any issues with missing wire errors or outside of wire problems. This machine has worked every time perfectly. I out the pins in the ground deep and probably out more than needed, however I have plenty left and plenty of wire. I’m so happy to have this little guy helping us! Great Purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Redback mowro rm18. Within 15 months the mower failed twice. I returned and followed through to get a partial refund. That asides I had been looking at the wr147 prior to the purchase of the mowro. In hindsight I should have just gone with your product. It is far superior to the Redback product. On customer support, Redback was not a good or easy experience. It head hard to get them engaged. With worx, you all have been extremely helpful, problem solving and fast responding.

The most mule-headed robot around

I’ve had my mower for a season. Overall does the job-does miss small patches which don’t completely get caught even after a half dozen rounds so usually requires some touch ups. It’s definitely not as sharp looking as a hand mow. It also is very bull headed and will rip up grass stubbornly smashing in a direction (doesn’t have to be an obstruction, can be an uneven piece of grass or small water erosion spot, also corners and smaller areas). I had stakes and barriers around some small trees, and instead of redirecting, like a Roomba, it smashes against it until it runs stone barriers across the plants and rips up stakes to run over and destroy plants. It pulls itself over the wire a lot, especially when battery starts to run down, and won’t let you reset/redirect from the app so you have to frequently go down to rescue it and redirect (and will usually just go back to wherever it got stuck to do it all over and over again). So that’s the negative, positive is when it’s working, runs well. Does pretty well on hilly areas (but will rip up sod with its big rugged wheels if grass is a little long or damp). I have it set to auto so goes out regularly and keeps the grass to a manageable level.

Very happy with my purchase! The only issues I've had was finding the correct spots to lay the boundary wire. I have some weird hills that were causing it to slide down. The wire is almost 100% tweaked to the point where I don't have to watch it all the time. I haven't had to mow in a month, love it.

Works as advertised. Placing the boundary cord was quick and easy. One issue, it has problems making a 90 degree turn on a slope. One wheel locks and the other wheel turns to pivot on the back wheel. This works on flat ground but on 10 degree slope, often when the wheel turns it pulls the locked wheel forward passed the boundary line. There are several work arounds on reddit, i bought wheel spikes made for the Landroid and this fixed the issue.

I ordered My Landroid on May 15, 2022 it arrived on time and in great condition. I tried for the professional installation but apparently, that is not available in the upper Midwest of the United States. It took quite a while to install the boundary wire it is not difficult just time consuming. Once I installed the boundary wire and with a few days of adjustments, the Landroid (B Bot) worked great and keeps my lawn looking great. The first few days you will need to adjust the wire, not staked down well, or turn to tight the robot will go out of wire and you will need to make adjustments. It has been a month since I ordered (B Bot) and everything is now working great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bit the bullet and just got one. The company I paid to do my lawn for years did a terrible job, ran into my siding, outdoor lights, left clippings everywhere. Was tired of it, replaced them with a landroid. Initially Some installation planning with a bit of trial and error, but it is well worth it! My landroid should pay for itself after it's second summer and no more sweating and wasting time mowing. Lawn looks greener also.
