The Worx 4V ZipSnip Cordless Electric Scissors are designed to do everything traditional handheld scissors can—and more. Powered by a rechargeable 4V Max Lithium battery, this cutting tool spins a rotating blade that can cut through various materials up to ¼” thick—including tough plastic packaging, cardboard, fabric, rubber, leather, and wrapping paper. Its self-sharpening blade keeps the edges fine to deliver a precise cut with every use. While the cutting capabilities are powerful, the ZipSnip is optimized for safety. The safety switch works in conjunction with the trigger to prevent the blade from moving unintentionally. The blade guard also blocks the sharp edge to prevent accidental cuts. Used it to remove old carpet and padding and install new sticky back carpet tiles. I'm a 65 year old DIY woman. I volunteer at a non-profit. This tool cut through the nasty, forty year old orange carpet. The even nastier fiber mat underlay. And the sticky adhesive backed new carpet tile. All with no issues. I recommend this cutter 1000%.

bought this in Oct 2023 and thought I was getting the same as my last one but I got the new model with a computer charging plug not the normal charging cord, been using it and now it is dead, charges but will not turn on when I push the handle and the button, just get nothing at all, no way this will last 3 years and

I was able to complete the task in almost no time using the ZipSnip Cutting Tool. The charge lasted throughout my efforts. It is also great for getting plastic packages open. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

This is by far my favorite Work Tool. I use it all the time for cutting up boxes. It is made really great and so easy to use. This is my second one. Wore out the other which I had for several years. Highly recommend this one.

It's an Ok cutter, for thin materials. Heaver materials, even less than a quarter of an inch, it has a lot of trouble with. It shouldn't be used for serious material that's heavy, even if it's less than a quarter of an inch.

This was given to me for a Christmas present a year ago. I have been trying to figure out just what I can use it on all this time. It cuts paper easily but tends to rip the paper if you use it too fast. I've attempted to use it to tear down boxes, but there is little room between the blade and the blade guard to get a good cut. I have decided to give it away and use my scissors and box cutter to do a better job. I'm sorry someone spent the money on this product that just is useless to me.

Bought this about 3 weeks ago and so far it works really well. I charged it up before use and went to work on some cardboard boxes, it worked very well, I used to use a box knife but no more this is so easy-to-use and much safer.

Love this item. Find it very time saving and muscle saving. I have a question is it supposed t make a clic/clacking sound while the blade is rotating. I think the blade is hitting metal and not sure if that is supposed to work that way. It appears that the guide is bent in; should it be that way?

I bought the ZipSnip to help me cut up cardboard boxes in the garage. The tool does not have enough power to push through an average box without stalling. I let the tool charge overnight and the light was green. Very disappointing. Need to do a few things to make this product useful - bigger batter and more aggressive blade., perhaps different blade options for different needs.
