Keep food and beverages crisp without the need for ice using the Worx 40V Electric & Battery Powered Cooler. This convenient solution for portable refrigeration quickly cools to 32°F in just 15 minutes, saving you from the hassle of having to haul ice—and the sogginess it causes once it melts. For greater customization, use the vibrant LED digital display to set specific temperatures between -4°F and 68°F. At lower temps, it can act as a freezer to keep frozen goods fresh. With 24 quarts of storage space, this cooler is big enough to carry up to 35 (12 oz.) cans or stock up with all your favorite picnic provisions. Equipped with a heavy-duty pull handle and roll wheels, this lightweight 30-lb. cooler is designed for easy transport so you can pack it up for the beach, picnics, tailgate, road trips, job sites, or wherever you want to travel. You can also enjoy it at night, as the interior LED light brightens up contents, so you never have to dig around in the dark. For more on-the-go convenience, use the cooler’s built-in cup holders, bottle opener, and USB charging port for phones and small electronics. When you have two fully charged 2.0Ah 20V Power Share batteries, the cooler can work for an average of 10 hours depending on the set temperature. However, you can get more mileage out of your batteries by using the included AC charger to chill the cooler when you have access to an outlet. When plugged in, it will also recharge the batteries you have connected to the cooler.

Worked very well for the long trip. But need to make sure the battery is firmly attached once in a while during moving, the bad bumpy road condition may force the battery to detach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this cooler on 2 long road trips. It maintains a relatively consistent temperature within a few degrees. It also stays relatively cool once the battery power is gone. It is a good balance of space, overall weight and price. It rolls nicely. My only complaint is that after some extended amount of time (it seems to be several hours) if the corded power is removed, it does not fall back to battery automatically. Instead the unit powers off and I have to open the battery compartment and eject and reinsert the batteries to power back on.

I was surprised how cold this cooler gets in the Las Vegas heat. I found the sweet spot for beer at 29 degrees. The beers get a little icy and they are amazing! Wish it shipped with the 8AH batteries which make it last all day long. Wish it was bigger, but can't have everything. All in all a great battery powered cooler!

Three power sources 20v battery,12v auto & 120v AC. Compact but with surprising amount of capacity and it is very quiet. Operation should be common sense push button, Shouldn't need a manual to operate! other than that a very nice unit!

When i received the promotional email showing this, i ordered immediately. My SUV is equipped with all the power sources; several 12v sockets and several 120v AC outlets, but i wanted the versatility of battery power. The kit came with (2) 4Ah batteries and already have many 2Ah batteries. As higher capacity batteries become available, would like a few of them for this.

Plug it in at home ,let it cool to 5 or 10 deg, good for the rest of the trip. Plug into 12 volt and away you go. If the 12 volt doesn't work while the car is off the batteries cover for ya!

I put this in my work truck and not only does it keep my drinks cold all night but i can only use it to charge my batteries while plugged into cigarette lighter on the go for when I need to use other worx equipment on the go such as their blower or air compressor

I also love that the cooler can be plugged in as well for when you have power available. It also has a car charger so you can use it on the road. It's perfect for the beach, camping or whenever you need a cooler. You don't have to worry about soggy food because there's no ice involved! It's a great size and fits up to 35 cans. Overall an absolutely fantastic cooler!
