Even though it's a foam sword, it's very sturdy and stable. Keep in mind that it's only one sword, so if you're hoping to have multiple kids play you'll have to get more than one. Hopefully at some point they will be sold as a multi-pack like some of the guns are. My grandson is enjoying his sword

This sword is very good quality for a very reasonable price. I thought when I purchased this that it was going to be flimsy and poor quality but it was exactly the opposite. My kids played with these multiple times a day.

This sword was a big hit (literally) as he enjoyed running and wacking me with it, I was very happy that it was foam and it did not hurt at all when hit with it, yet it was also sturdy and was not damaged at all by all the wacking. My son was so excited to get this sword to play with- I love that it can't damage our walls OR his sister! Have they considered selling this in a two pack? Because, two is always better than one! The pricepoint is nice too for gifts for the never ending school birthday parties!
