Q: This is the second one I have bought and have had for 3 months and the earpiece is not working. Any idea why?
A: Hi Ra4, thanks for reaching out about Xbox Wired Gaming Stereo Headset for Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One. It's frustrating to have a headset fail after only three months, especially when it's the second one you've purchased. Troubleshooting Steps to Try: Visually Inspect: Check the cable, connector, and earpiece for any physical damage. Secure Connection: Unplug and firmly replug the headset into the controller or console. Check Mute: Ensure the mute function is off. Adjust Volume: Turn up the volume on the headset and in the Xbox audio settings. Check Xbox Audio Settings: Verify the chat mixer and party chat output settings. Try a Different Controller: If possible, test the headset with another controller. Restart Xbox: Perform a full power cycle of your console. Test on Another Device (If Applicable): If the headset has a standard 3.5mm jack, try plugging it into a PC or phone to see if the earpiece works there. This can help isolate if the issue is with the headset itself. Warranty and Next Steps: Since you've only had the headset for three months, it should still be under the manufacturer's warranty. Check the Warranty: Review the documentation that came with the headset or check the retailer's website for warranty information. The standard warranty for Xbox accessories is often 90 days, but some retailers or extended warranties might offer longer coverage. Contact Support: Retailer: If you purchased it recently, contact the retailer where you bought it. They may offer an exchange or refund within a certain return window or direct you to the manufacturer's warranty process. Xbox/Microsoft Support: If the retailer can't help or if it's within the manufacturer's warranty period, contact official Xbox Support through the Xbox website. They can provide troubleshooting steps and guide you through the warranty claim process if the headset is deemed defective. It's unusual to have the same issue with two headsets in a row. Be sure to provide detailed information about the problem to the support team when you contact them. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Is the cable durable? Because my only problem with wired headsets is the cable being too fragile.
A: Hi RageGaming, thanks for reaching out about Xbox Wired Gaming Stereo Headset for Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One. The cable is very durable. The way to avoid breakage is to manage the tension of your cable during playback. You should never see your cable turning a 90-degree angle directly where it's plugged in. The internal wires are straining to maintain their connection with the plug, and you may be pulling them away, whether you mean to or not. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
