Regarding your question about the Xsories Adventure Camera And Camcorder Mounts - Orange (L): While it will fit, the Vixia HF R30 is only recommended to have a fastening screw shorter than 5.5mm and this one has a screw that is 6.35mm, so I would recommend getting one with a slightly shorter mounting screw to be safe.
