Q: Is the bottom of the basket 6.3 inches wide? I have 6 inch file cards that I want to store and I want to make sure they will fit.
A: No, something 6 inches wide will not fit. I bought this to store my 6x6 scrapbooking paper and it does not fit. the measurements listed are not the internal measurements, they are the measurements from the outside of the container.

submitted byBuyer Beware - 4 years agoA: I don't think answer given is correct. The question is about the bottom of the basket and the answer gives the width at the top. Another answer stated that the top is flared, so this question is trying to find out how much of a flare it is.

submitted byKatrina - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: I currently use this bin to hold diapers and wipes. We’re on size 6 diapers and they still fit well. If you add a rubber sticker to the bottom of the bin, the bin won’t slide around on smooth surfaces either! :)

Q: How wide is the basket AT THE BOTTOM? I know it is 6.3" at the top, but it flares, so how wide is it at the bottom?

Q: Is the 13.6 inch depth the measurement for the top of the basket? I'm looking for a basket to store 12 by 12 scrapbook paper, standing the paper up vertically. If the bottom of the basket measurement is a little over 12 inches I think this would work.
