Needed a receptacle for trash that would fit in an 11x11 cube storage shelf without taking up too much space. This fits the shelf perfectly, a plastic grocery bag fits nicely inside as a liner, and the front opening makes it easy to put trash in without having to take the basket off the shelf. The plastic is firm but not brittle, I expect this basket to last for a long time.
