Pure DirectThe CD-C603 offers Pure Direct which is the same popular feature included in Yamaha amplifiers and receivers. By pressing the button on the front panel or on the remote control it shuts down the digital audio output and turns off the display. This achieves the lowest possible noise interference and therefore the highest sound quality of the analog audio output.
A Truly Unique CD ChangerPlayXChange allows you to change four CD's while the fifth CD keeps playing. Enjoy uninterrupted music while also exchanging your favorite CD's. In addition the CD-C603 has a fully opening disc tray for changing all 5 discs at the same time.

Q: Do I need to run this through a receiver, or can I simply hook it up to a pair of speakers. Just to verify, the speakers need to be wired, and not bluetooth. Correct?
A: The CD changer needs to be connected to a stereo receiver/amplifier and wired to a pair of speakers or connected to a pair of internally amplified, self powered speakers speakers.

Q: does this require any set up or other equipment in order to work? will i be able to just plug it in, put cd's in it and play music?
