In addition to needing it to be compact, it needed to be short enough to fit under the window. This table fits perfectly. I can put my coffee cup, phone and glasses on the top and love having shelves to store books and other items as well!

Fits by the arm chair in very limited space. Simple, elegant design.

Even smaller than I thought, but ok. The rack is very useful for stacking books and magazines, and makes the whole thing look more fun.

This is such a perfect table for next to a chair to hold a coffee or cocktail. And the slats on the lower portion are great for holding record sleeves of records we’re listening to.

We love love love this table. It's so slim, so discreet, yet so functional. Works perfectly in our space, exactly what we needed. Once again, Yamazaki does the trick!

This was actually the second one of these I’ve bought. Moved into a new place with a smaller bedrooms and decided to use these as bedside tables. Also worked great as an end table in my living room before!

I was looking for a small table to keep my cellphone, tablet, books and other small items by my bedside. I don't have much room for full blown side table so something as narrow as this was perfect for my needs. It is a little shorter than my bed but not uncomfortably so that I can't easily reach my phone or glasses when I need them. Additionally, this table came completely constructed so as soon as I took it out of the box and packaging it was ready to display. It's minimal that I feel confident saying that this table in either black or white would fit well into any space style-wise.

Quality materials, and fits perfectly under my minimal home office desk. Helps keep the clutter at bay!
