Yorkville Daybed Frame Only - Dual Comfort

I was debating on whether or not to rate the day bed 3 or 4 stars. It came with a piece that had a lot of scratches on it, but luckily the mattress covers it. The one thing that is really bugging me is that the back is not sturdy at all. The second I leaned on it, I noticed it. It’s kind of a bummer. In general though, it’s a really nice furniture piece though. The rest of it seems sturdy, so as of now, I’m planning to keep it.

Really excellent, sturdy daybed for a great price. It was fairly easy to put together by myself, but having two people would’ve gone by quicker.

I previously got a metal daybed and it squeaked with any movement, which is how I came to purchase the all wood Yorkville. I ordered white, and got walnut, which I kept due to guests arriving in two days. Target.com gave me 50% off for the color mishap. The first part of assembling went well by myself. When I got to the back of the bed it absolutely required two people. I found the screw holes to be off a bit so it was 45 minutes of fumbling and sweat to make it all come together. Once I'd tightened everything it didn't move or make noise - yeah! I over tightened one screw and slightly split some wood - watch out for that. I would definitely buy this bed again. The walnut color has some gray in it, so it looks fine with my grey floor. It is a quality piece of solid wood furniture that will last quite a long time. Nice change from all the particle board stuff.
