YUMI Organic Apple and Broccoli Baby Snack Puffs - 1.5oz

We used to buy these often when my kids (3 and 1.5) were babies. I liked them well enough for their convenience and nutrition content. The taste was rather bland. Well let me tell you!!! My toddler threw these in the cart the other day and when we got home I noticed the label said “new and improved flavor” and they taste MUCH better! The container was gone in 2 days.

My baby does not like these at all. She has tried many brands but this one is a no.

These don’t taste the best TO ME, because I’m grown and I eat sugary things. To my child of 1 year, who hasn’t had the “luxury” of eating loads of sugar and drinking juice she loves them. They don’t dissolve quickly but she loves to bite down on them, we did baby led weaning instead of just purées at 6 months so at 8 months she is was use to having to chew a little instead of just swallowing her food. (No judgment on parents who decided to do purées only , to each their own) but I don’t think the puffs themselves are a choking hazard. All in all , I think these are great , they don’t contain added sugars, they aren’t rice and they’re healthy compared to gerber and other “green label” puffs. 10/10 from a first time mama who has done extensive research and has found these are by far the healthier choice. EACH BABY IS DIFFERENT, TASTE BUDS AND ALL.

I decided to try these (we usually buy Serenity Kids). Within 5 minutes my baby choked. I tried one myself as she’s never choked on a puff before and they are extremely hard and don’t dissolve. I threw it out immediately and will never by them again.

Tried it myself and it taste ok, relatively bland, which I think is ok. Inconsistent sizes. Takes a while to dissolve, probably don’t recommend giving it to babies who are new to eating solids

My son loves these! I like the clean ingredients on the lable and that they're highly fortified in things like iron. However, they do seem to give him a bit of gas, but nothing awful.

Great ingredients but DO NOT DISSOLVE WELL! They are bitter not sweet. My baby loved them but i had to offer one at a time and keep a close eye on him. Offered with yogurt.

Smells and tastes horrible. Also, pretty sure this gave my baby loose, explosive stools with its choline content.

Purchased as the healthier option of puffs for toddlers based on research I did but my toddler hates them. They're definitely not worth the price!

Absolutely disgusting.

Smell and taste terrible. We usually get the serenity kids puffs, but thought we would give these a try. My baby was not as interested in them. I tried one to see, and it actually made me throw up. It wasn't that it was bland.. it just had an awful taste. Definitely sticking to serenity kids and lesser evil puffs from now on.

Flavor is not bad how other people have said. So far no issue with my 8 month old choking or having trouble with them not melting quickly. There is an inconsistency with the size of each puff tho. Some are tiny and some are super thick

My 11month old loves these and I have been offering this since 7 months. They obviously don’t taste great because there is no added sugar like other brands. I do agree that these do not dissolve well. I give these one at a time because my baby has almost choked multiple times. Once I did not even realize. So with any food you need to always be watching. If I give her too many in one serving it upsets her stomach. She loves them so I still offer once in a while, but now we are moving on to more fruits and less processed snacks.

I was so disappointed in these! I noticed two types of cantisters of the same flavor at my store- one that advertised "rice free" and one that said "meltable", everything else was the same. The meltable ones had an expiration date of Nov 2023 and the rice free expire March 2024, so I bought these. Oh my word at the smell!!!! Chemical, bug spray, plastic smell! I feel like it may be the canister itself that smells so strong and it's just seeped into the puffs, because they don't have as much of a smell when you pour them out. But they do have the same chemical/bug spray after taste. Also, my baby is 10 months old and eats like a champ! but she gagged on every single one (5 total before I took them away) that she ate, they would not dissolve. Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking maybe there was a reciepe change or a bad batch made and that's where the extreme opposing views are coming from. The people who say these are terrible aren't saying that because they think baby food should have more flavor. They have flavor alright- like when you're cleaning and you get the taste/smell of the cleaner in your mouth. Legit concerned! Something is not right about these puffs!

My son is 11 months and we've had one too many close calls with these puffs choking him. They do not dissolve well and i as an adult had the same issue with them not dissolving well. Do not recommend.

These are great and nutritious. Weird to me that people are rating as one star? It’s a puff. My 8 month old loves them.

These have a horrible smell to them. They don't taste off, very bland, but that smell is horrible. My baby seems to like them but I won't be purchasing again. As other have mentioned these are inconsistently sized and definitely do not dissolve like other brands.
