Ahh, where to begin? I bought this for my 8yo girl and because she saw ads leading up to Christmas. It doesn’t come with a doll. It has two flavors—chocolate smells nauseating. It’s SUPER messy. The flavor bottles were impossible for her to squeeze. The container of the lipgloss base had no resealable lid so, no repeat play unless you keep up with it in a plastic baggie. The extruding feature was cute for a few seconds, but the cups are too small to hold much without the lid mashing it down and out all over the container. I had to use a thin bakers spatula to fully mix the flavor in. The only positives: truck drives smoothly, the parts to clean are removable, it’s colorful and the lip gloss works. But, I’m still finding lipgloss on various surfaces. Who designed this toy?!

My 8 year old loved it. She liked making the gloss. However it made a mess, we needed 100 baby wipes. It made 2 small sticky glosses that I’ll most likely throw away when she’s at school. You literally move sticky jelly from one container to the next and it gets everywhere. Luckily I got it on a good sale.

I wish I had read the reviews that were NOT part of a paid promotion because this was such a waste of money. Luckily my daughter wasn’t bummed by how horribly it doesn’t work but this is definitely a miss. It does not create the gloss as easily as it portrayed. We basically ended up with two blobs of petroleum jelly with almost zero coloring since the tubes would not squeeze. This is a zero.

Th flavor tubes were impossible for a child to get to work without an adult taking over. The balm portion isn’t resealable, so it’s a “one-and-done” toy, despite there being enough in the balm container to make more later. (Call me crazy, but an open top mini bowl of balm doesn’t seem sanitary to store for weeks.)

Do not even bother with the “lip gloss” it has the consistency of thick grease or two mini “scented dye bottles” that don’t squeeze out of the bottles properly. The result is an awful mess and an incredible amount of wasted time and frustration. If you do use it, make sure you have a pack of baby wipes at the ready. I am going to experiment to see if this works better with Play-Doh so it doesn’t go straight to the landfill. #GARBAGE

Our 5 year old was crying. It did not come with everything pictured - you do not get the dolls with this. And at this price point, you should. The flavorings had dried up, the lip balm splurted everywhere - and the only way to clean it up is rubbing alcohol. And the lip gloss creation process was a pure mess and there's only enough product for one gloss. DO NOT BUY! And you only discover alll of that after you spend an hour trying to get through the packaging.

This is such a terrible toy. It’s kind of funny, except that it’s $30 for basically kids’ lip gloss and a cheap plastic truck. First of all, the pics are misleading. It does not come with any dolls, just a cardboard cutout that makes it *look* like dolls are included. The pictures make the “lipgloss” look so smooth and easy to mix/dispense. It’s not. It’s like super sticky, messy, thick Vaseline. Secondly, it says ages 4+… if you want kids with sticky, greasy hands wiping it all over the carpet and furniture, sure. There’s like 3 steps to “mixing” it and putting it into various containers, only for 1 second of entertainment when it squeezes out and kind of looks like frozen yogurt. The bottles you’re supposed squeeze to add scent are literally impossible for a child to squeeze. It was almost impossible for me to even squeeze anything out of there. So yeah, 0/10 do not recommend. Needlessly messy, no real point. Like 5 minutes of fun if you’re lucky.

This toy is so messy. And it’s pretty pricey too. It’s a little vehicle with a spot to add Vaseline. And kids think it looks cute so they make us buy it, and then we have to figure out what to do with this greasy mess.

Honest review - this is a big waste of money. You are just scooping lip balm from one place to the next, into parts of the truck (which is so unnecessary), and covering everything in a sticky layer of wax that is VERY hard to get off of everything. This does not lead to hours of fun, as they only give you two little containers you scoop into. You can double the truck into something else for some imaginative play - but for what you’re buying it for? There has to be something better out there. I’m still sticky typing this!!!

The mixing bowl is a good size I did feel the spoon should have been shaped differently or maybe bring a plain stick in addition since the spoon seems to be too big for this bowl other than that is a great multi-use truck, she uses with her dolls as well. Your little girl will thank you this is the most lovely gloss kit get it!
