Q: Can the legs be removed and replaced with castors so that it is easy to move when full?

Good size. Works with my modular sofa set. Only thing I dislike is that the fabric gets "linty". I now cover it so to help keep it from pilling as I can see this will happen over time.

I bought one ottoman in gray and one in blue and both have the same issues….the material pills and collects lint terribly. It is very difficult to get the pilling and lint off. I use both a vacuum and lint brush but to no avail. I’ve bought a different style of Christopher Knight ottoman before and did not have the same problem. There is something different about the material used on this style. It is a shame because the construction, colors and style are great for a larger ottoman.

This is a solid ottoman that has good padding and feels sturdy enough to sit on with your full weight. It's definitely sizeable, so make sure you're aware of the measurements before you buy. The height is great and matches perfectly with our chair of the same height. It is not a storage ottoman that opens up on a hinge. There's a little pouch on the bottom of the ottoman that the legs do come wrapped in, but it's not something that you'd likely use as everyday storage.

Pros Size and color are fine. It is a light gray, with a bluish tint as described by other reviews. If you buy the storage ottoman, it does hold throw blankets, small pillows Cons Cant be used for someone to sit on, or prolonged use for putting up feet, padding and material is already mis-shaped after only 2 mos. I used mine to take off or put on shoes periodically. For the reviews and price I paid for it, one would think it would not do this, or at least would get 'more' use out of it.

Color is not dark, as it is called dark gray. My sofa is a different color gray and much darker gray but we will keep the ottoman anyway. The ottoman otherwise is very good for the price. I thought it opened up as a storage item but that was my mistake.
