Summary of reviews
The pen is praised for its smooth writing experience, durable design, and comfortable grip, making it a favorite for everyday use. However, some guests express disappointment with the lack of blue ink refills and the lightweight feel of the pen. The pen's pressurized ink feature is appreciated for writing in various conditions, but the paint chipping and clip durability are noted concerns. Overall, it's a reliable choice for those who prefer black ink and need a sturdy pen for daily tasks.

Time for some refills, still no blue option

I have finally used my two black refills that came with the pen and ready to buy some more but to my dismay, there is still no blue option. Was hoping that in the few years since I started using it, Zebra would have come out with a blue refill. What's up with that, Zebra. Outside of that, it is a nice pen for EDC as it is very lightweight. The clip could use some redesign to make it a bit more sturdy, mine always gets caught and bent out of place when clipped on my pocket. Would recommend if you only like using black ink as there are no other refill colors available. Red, black, and blue should be standard options. Maybe a color-coded piece to swap out to reflect the current color if you have multiple pens like I do.
Hands down my favorite pen

Probably my favorite pen. I have so many pens, and have paid upwards of $50 for a single pen. This has been my favorite out of all of them. My only complaint about it is it does not come in blue ball point.
Great stainless steel pen option

Great stainless steel pen at good price. Comfortable grip, smooth click, and durable spring. Writes well even after 5 months of use. Perfect those who want a stylish, long-lasting pen without breaking the bank.

My shipment arrived. OK after it was replaced from the first original order. It was destroyed. Good customer service like to pens a lot.
LOVED IT!

I had the pen for about 5 years, through 4 refills. Like the paint had worn pretty significantly. I work retail so it kept people from stealing it up until last week 😑 I would definitely buy it again, but it is hard to find not online.
I would buy this product all the time

This started out as a great pen. However, after a week, the barrel surrounding the tip fell off in a pocket and disappeared, making it unusable.

I really like the grip of the pen, but the ink cartridge oozes ink whenever it is not in use! Sometimes while laying on my desk I will return to find a glob of ink. I can't imagine ever purchasing another Zebra pen.
Very long wait for the pen

The pen itself is a 5 🌟 pen . As much as I like it. I highly doubt I would buy another or even recommend buying it. The reason is the amount of time for the delivery of the pen. The office of Zebra pens is literally 10 minutes from my home, but no you have this product made outside of the USA. I bought and returned 2 pairs of sneakers. I got my sneakers and was waiting for the pen. I ordered both on the same day. And both came from other states and not the state that I live in.
Great pen, writes on receipt paper

I like this pen a lot. Has a great feel, it fits in the hand well, has a loop for things like a lanyard, The pen writes very smooth, and will work on receipt paper, which is not easy to do for even my f701 and f301 pens. Over all is is a great pen, much lighter feel than the f701. I work outside a lot in the heat, and here in Florida the temps can be in the upper 90s, and inside the vehicles much higher, so far this ink hold up as well as the ink from the f701 and f301.
I would buy the pen again if I could find a decent refill.

Nice light metallic feel. The pressurized ink refills are not very impressive or nice to write with. Very thin, and not smooth. I don't need the extreme writing ability enough to warrant the mediocre writing experience.
I have bought two, probably the F-701 next time

Working in a factory gets hot, and I've had many pens explode in my pocket. Bought the X and have used it since I first saw it (at least a couple of years). I have a spare body, and am partway through my 3rd refill. The barrel tip and clicker are finally wearing out after heavy use, which is pretty long life. The clip and paint, however, was... not great. It did make the pen unique so I could keep managers from "claiming" it was theirs. I write upside down and on unsupported sheets of paper all the time. Wife always expects me to have it on me when we are out. I'll probably move back to the F-701 and find pressurized cartridges for it. Hopefully they're compatible, but if not... this one's for the suggestion box, Zebra. Make the pressurized and temp resistant refill for the other 700 series pens!

I like that this pen is all metal, except for the clicker cap. However, I put it in my pocket in the parking lot of the store I bought it, I was so excited about the pen. But after driving home and pulling it out, it is missing substantial amounts of the pen. If I had known this would happen, I would purchased another of my usual pens, the F701. I feel kind of cheated, to be honest. This isn't a matte coating; just a bad, cheap paint job on a lighter, more expensive version of a lesser pen.
Disappointed

Disappointed. I break plastic pens at work (factory job, sometimes physical). Riding in my front pocket they usually do not last a week. I found a F-701 at a local drug store for a decent price and love it, there is not question about its durability. So when I saw the flash sale I made an impulse buy, thought I was upgrading, should have read the reviews. The tip might be metal, I thought it was plastic but some of the paint has started to chip reveling shinny metal underneath. The grip is plastic not metal and screws into the top portion just like a cheap plastic pen. The upper portion is a very thin metal (chipping, shinny underneath) with a plastic liner. The clip is metal (chipping, shinny) but the rest is plastic. It does not inspire confidence. Has not broken, yet...
Ehh...not mad, just disappointed

I absolutely love the F-701 all metal retractable pen. I had high hopes when reading about this one. Although the pen writes very well, I was disappointed in the weight of it, the barrel feels plastic. Also, the paint/coating started coming off of it after only a few days, that was very disappointing. Can't say I won't buy it again, but I may wait until maybe some upgrades happen 🤞...one of my students liked it so much they "borrowed" it and forgot to tell me or bring it back!

It's a good pressured ball point pen, it's just that it was advertised as steel and the barrel to tip is Nylon plastic. A little disappointing. Shipping was quick.
Yes I would buy this pen over and over.

It is a nice pen. I like the beefiness of the gripping area, and the ink writes well. My only disappointment is the weight. It is very light. I was hoping for something a little weightier like the G450, G750, or F701. It is not a fragile pen by any means! but it's size makes it feel hollow. Outside of that I like the grip, and it writes well, and feels good in my larger hand!
