Q: Do I have to actually spray it on the roaches or can I also spray it along the baseboards, behind the fridge, etc where the roaches commonly travel? Would that also kill them?

This is my second time using, and I’m completely satisfied. and it’s accurate. I think it’s better then Raid Ant & Roach spray which I previously used. It does have a slight odor that does lingers, but not as bad as Raid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is wonderful! Kills small bugs, gnats and spiders instantly. This time of year we get drain gnats in our bathroom so I keep it on hand to zap them. I also spray in my drains, gives them a nice fresh smell.

Our fire ants did not die "on contact" though perhaps other insects might. I also hope it repels them but haven't observed that yet.

It is oily. The sprayer leaks. It has a strong scent. But it does kill ants. My solution: Always wear gloves when spraying and put the bottle in a large ziplock bag after using. The strong smell I just have to wait it out. I have only used this for ants, since I don't have a roach problem and the spiders are few. I would rather use this product instead of Raid, Hot Shot or others because Zevo is made from plant products.

I disliked that the Zevo bottle was half empty. Apparently the Target staff was aware because it was packed in a plastic bag inside of my Target shopping bag.

I bought a bottle this past summer for ants. I tried several other products but the results were not satisfactory. Well it worked very well on the ants. I just now, noticed a stinkbug on my windowsill. I didn't know if it would work on stinkbugs but I do now. Within 2 minutes it was dead.

Not effective and toxic to cats

I bought it to kill spiders and ants in my new apartment and it did not kill them. It just slowed them down. Residue is very hard to clean up as well. Also, cornmill and peppermint oil are extremely toxic to cats.

Takes too much too product for the smallest insect and even more frustrating - it leaves an awful smell like all other bug sprays that makes me question if it is truly void of harsh chemicals.

DO NOT PURCHASE. This product is falsely advertised as pet safe when it contains peppermint oil which is toxic to cats and dogs!!! Don’t purchase if you have pets.

The spray works but open a window. Smells like peppermint at first and then burnt rubber. I definitely recommend ventilation, especially if you're going in hard against whatever pest you need this for. Interestingly, target gave me fruit flies when they put bananas in my drive up order that we're about a half day away from being too overripe for even banana bread. Left them in a bowl on my counter until I got the refund for them, and suddenly there was a fruit fly explosion in my kitchen. Now they get more of my money trying to get rid of them.

This Zevo was bought by 84 yr old Mom but she did not know how oily it was nor that the smell would be so bad after 3 days still stinks and causing me issues at 62. Would not ever recommend it as I have heart issues and this smell is causing palpitations since it should have went away within hours and still just as powerful. This was less than 3 sprays on steps with bug which it killed but would not use again. Threw in trash and letting others know not kud or pet friendly at all.

The active ingredients in our sprays are naturally occurring compounds found in a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and spices, and our formula targets nerve receptors that are only active in insects, not in humans and pets. As well, we have many quality checks in place to ensure that you can use them with ease. They're designed to be wiped up easily from hard surfaces, and we'd like to mention that our Zevo sprays are powered by essential oils, and naturally a scent comes along with these essential oils. If you haven't already, we recommend wiping up any excess residue with a rag or paper towel. If there's still residue left behind after doing this, you can clean the area using a solution of water and dish soap. Doing this should help weaken the scent.
