A neighbor highly recommended this mattress so when I bought my second home in Florida, I thought this would be perfect. I bought the hybrid firm mattress. But after Sleeping on it for one year I had to buy a different mattress. I found it was not actually firm and started causing various problems with my back, my shoulder and various joints.

This the best mattress I've ever slept on in my life. It is firm butt not hard. I have back problems and they don't go away by sleeping on this matter but I sleep all night and don't wake up with every joint in pain. For the first time in a long time I enjoy going to bed. I use a sinus bed frame, too.

We've had this mattress since Feb of 2021 and for the first 2 years it was great. It wasn't until recently, past couple of months, that I have started to experience back pain. I am 6'3" 240lbs back sleeper and the mattress just hasn't held up integrity for me. My wife also complains about her back and she is 5'2" 110lbs but I think that's mostly because she sleeps every which way. Would've been nice to get a couple more years out it.

This mattress is great. It is said to be extra firm but my old bed was much harder. Yep I like a firm bed and add a 1 inch topper for cush. This mattress is satisfactory for me and is comfy for me. Yes it is firm to me..extra firm...ahh...maybe..maybe not. I would go with firm for sure. Satisfied with my purchase. Thanks Zinus.

Quite disappointed in this mattress. It is nowhere near "extra firm". The construction feels pretty flimsy and the edge support is non-existent. I guess you get what you pay for. Was hoping not have to spend several hundreds more than this cost but if you value your sleep and your comfort over the long haul, this will not do it.

Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I’ve only had the mattress a month and can’t speak on long term durability, but let me tell you, so far this mattress is amazing. I was skeptical on buy a “bed in a box” because I read a lot about most not being very firm but this one is perfect. Definitely as firm as advertised and my wife, who isn’t a fan of firm mattresses, loves it too. My sleep quality has definitely improved and my back has never felt better. Like I said, I’m just one month in but so far I’ve highly recommended it to many of my friends and family. You can feel good about purchasing this mattress.

Too hard. Made my arms and legs numb during sleep. Not the best choice for a side sleeper. Mattress never plumped up to 10 inches. Only 9 inches.

I’ve only had it a week so I can’t say how long it holds up but boy they’re not kidding when they say it’s firm..I actually might need to buy a cheap mattress topper to soften it up lol. I’m not mad about it though because I bought it knowing this.

I was used to sleep on a floor futon but wanted to switch to a bed to have extra storage underneath. This mattress is very far from being extra firm, I would say that is more a medium. I'm putting 4 stars because I was able to get a refund. I would not recommend to someone who is used to sleep on a firm mattress.
