Super disappointed; that first product picture is deceptive. There are no sub-pockets in the main section, it doesn’t lie flat when opened, and the outside pockets are actually a zipper on each side that leads to the same large outer pocket (I put a ruler through in my picture to demonstrate).

My 5th grader loves this case. It is super cute, however it doesn't have the organizational pockets on the inside as shown in the picture. We purchased this case specifically because we liked how the pencils could be organized inside the case.
