I’ve used my grill quite a few times. It’s a great smoker. It states you can grill things you can’t. It turns off it gets too hot. Other than that it’s just OK.

I smoked ribs and chicken first thing. Ribs fell off the bone and was juicy. The chicken was tender and juicy. I can’t wait to smoke a brisket.

Where to start... First, the grill came with faulty parts, and the incorrect replacement part was sent first, so I had to wait for the other part to arrive before I could use it. 2 weeks gone before my first cook. They are correct in recommending the smoke tube, because you will get ZERO smoke into your meat if you don't have one... none. Temp control. This was one of the main reasons I purchased this, based on all the old reviews on how great the temp control is. I used 2 analog oven thermometers to measure on a few cooks and it always ran at least a 25 degrees higher than what the digital probe said. Last cook had a 50 degree difference. I contacted support but heard nothing for a month. Recently heard back, but needless to say I've already replaced this product and will never consider it again. I'm always willing to give a more economic product a chance, but I ended up just donating money to Zgrills. Do yourself a favor and research products with the long established brands.

This is my first smoker. I researched them online and talked with others before picking one. Overall it is a good value for the price. I’ve used it twice so far and it worked well. A few areas it could improve: 1) metal is fairly thin; 2) temperature can only be set at pre-designated spots (which worked fine so far); 3) Shipping box could have been better, body of smoker was dented when I got it. I kept it anyway because it wasn’t bad. Paint was chipped at the dent but I can touch it up.
Awesome grill!

Used it for 1st time in the middle of a northeast windstorm. Worked like a charm. Fired right up and had no issues with the wind. Grilled and smoked some marinated chicken for the 1st use. It was delicious.

I was disappointed in the fact that I thought I was getting the grill with the meat probes. That is what I was asking about before I bought the grill.

We haven’t used it yet because it Hass to get put together. I wish we would’ve had an option for someone to assemble it for a fee. It would be good to find companies such as that for your customers.

Always had Pit Boss, After many reviews on the Z Grill. My wife and I decided to give it a try. Arrived with in days of ordering. Set was pretty easy. 1.5 hours by myself. First cook was Christmas Dinner. 15lb Brisket and 4 Racks of ribs. It was a 5 star hit. Everyone raved about how moist and tender the food was. If it cooks this great all the time, no reason to go back to Pit Boss. Thank you Z Grills!!!

I love this grill. It performed as expected especially cooking low and slow. My brisket was delicious. But the grilling part at 300 degrees and up uses a lot of pellets. I still don't taste the smoke that I get from charcoal grilll but overall it's a great great. I'm still experimenting with it.

The grill was purchased as a gift. Upon arrival the hopper lid was damaged as well as the main lid. One hinge was bent and there was a small gouge on the backside of the grill. As for the performance of the grill I can’t say at this point.

Bought it as a house warming gift for my son. I have had one since 2020. During the Pandemic and on lockdown by my wife, saw them advertise online. Being a son of a Chef, I have seen a few things about grilling and hanging around my father in my youth and a few family recipe under my belt. So Once me and the grill, got to know each other, the marriage has been = Awesome. Because of this , My Son comes hopping to my house with the family Turkey that he has always been Chef Tell at his house. So, two years ago, I open my big mouth, and said, have you tried a Turkey on a pellet grill? Well I cook one, and brought it over to the house. That poor turkey, got crush. His guests were rolling out his house with plates like they coming out a restaurant. Fast forward, August of 2023 He just move into a new home, and in the back of my mind, ZGrills 1000. So as a senior, this year, I'am really going to enjoy, Thanksgiving in peace. ( P.S.) I bought it ,the first of November, so he can have a few test run with it. Verdict is in==Happy Campers in his household :-) A+
